Haj, where specifically are you looking? Yes, it's expensive, but I can ask a couple folks from my old workplace (Kronos) for recommendations if they have. May not be anything better than what you've seen, but who knows..... And by your description of the food/entertainment place, sounds like Kimball's

Wow, nice pics Stretch and Al. We finished our second Bone Marrow Drive today, collected another 57 registrations in ~4 hours. Son Andrew and his friend Jake are just amazing kids, so very proud of both of them. The entire experience is one we'll relish, and we'll surely volunteer at other drives.

I'm looking forward to trying this, could be fun for not big $. I've wondered about the AKM DAC's, but something like the Exciter was too much money for me to potentially waste trying. At least this will have discreet output, even if it is built to a price point. I had a couple of older motherboards that had SPDIF coax out, but never tried them on a DAC. When I did start getting into some computer audio, I do know that I liked the coax out from my $30 Diamond PCI sound card better than any USB I had heard to date, even on 16/44 material. The limited amount of HiRez I have was even better.....

There was a ton of overpayment on free agents this year, some scary bad deals. But the Vokoun deal should be great for Washington, he has some darn good talent.

A little late to the game, but happy belated birthday!

Several books, all either books on the Bruins & Stanley Cup Playoffs, or novels & short stories by F Paul Wilson that I didn't already have. Also yesterday, bought some Dow's White Wine Port to try.

RIP.... Big Man is an apt description, he played big and WAS big. Saw him in a restaurant in Del Ray Beach FL a couple years ago; I remembered an amazing presence, and BIG hands! A great personality and talent lost....

From one dad to the others, Happy Father's Day. Beautiful weather in MA today, got to relax with my family this a.m. and we're heading to a nice cookout at my dad's soon. Should be a great time!

Wow....kind of a neat story. Though the more scandalous one would have been more fun Great parade in Boston today; didn't go, but watched on TV, the crowds looked just incredible!!

Someone posted in a hockey forum that there were 200-300 folks doing the worst things at the riots, and some weren't even from Vancouver. That doesn't represent all fans for sure..... I've heard many stories, from many people, in many venues, about abusive fans. There are always a-holes. There was a ton of booing by Vancouver at the end, but most of that was for Bettman ( ) or Marchand (expected). They gave nice cheers to Thomas and Lucic, which was real nice. I was in tears last night; I had memories of my dad letting me stay up and watch some of the games in 1972 (I was 7) when the Bruins won the cup then. I was pleased and honored to let my son stay up with me for this one..... Thank you Bruins, it was an incredible ride!

Finally took the Sennheiser 600 plunge. Have owned 650's twice and 580's twice. Even though I'm not listening too much to quailty dynamics, I figured I owed it to myself to try this. Thank you Paypal balance

Playing in Vancouver will be so tough, but I think the Bruins will leave their hearts on the ice for game 7, and can bring the cup to Boston. It's almost surreal for me that it has come to this!

Happy Birthday! Hope the movie is/was good

I know it sounds kind of corny, but these updates reminded me of when my grandmother died. Some cousins in NJ hosted the extended family and very close friends, and we reminisced about our grandmother and focused on new life: all the kids/grandkids around. It was an amazing weekend, ended up being really positive and full of laughs; and it just stuck in my memory. The parallels of "good news within bad" seemed to set that off. Happy birthday's to the little ones, and best of luck and good wishes to the big ones.

I'm definitely watching too (just not commenting here for a while). My nephew was lucky to be at that 8-1 game....major jealousy. I think the Bruins can now take this series, I was also hesitant after games 1 and 2. Not because I didn't think they had the capability of winning, just that they weren't playing the best/beast they can. Now....I think they can even overcome the last change benefit Vancouver gets. If they can play their game again on the road, they can take the next one too. But we'll see, Vancouver was #1 in the regular season for a reason, I would never assume anything. I'm just saddened that they had to lose Horton, even if he is now an inspiration for them.....

At work trying to help figure out why our reporting servers and DB servers aren't talking with each other well all the time. Have a vendor on the hook to help, but they've sent uis what we already saw for possible fixes. Now I wait while our Op's group looks into them. Great news from many a folk otherwise, always happy to see good stuff here!!! Congrats to all, from places to rent, to new spouses, to bikes
