I had my doubts Bruins would win if it went back to Chicago, but DAMN I wanted it to go back to Chicago! Late choke sucks, but hats off to the Hawks, a helluva team! If we were going to lose, it's much easier to lose to them. Some questions will certainly be asked in the off-season.....some players had bad seasons and post-seasons.......

Happy belated from here, too! Hope it was great!

Read, repeat. Happy Anniversary!

I think he's doing the suffering artist thing....his food tastes best if he suffers while cooking it. But heal well, Jacob!

I haz a fucking sad..... Yeah, down 3-2. We won the last two home/away in 2011, but Chicago is just playing real well. Hoping Bergeron is OK, having lost Campbell was a surprisingly big hit to our bottom 6. If Bergeron can't play it's just as big, if not bigger, hit to our top 6. And, not sure of what's going on with Toews, but hope he's OK too. I like how Julien split up Chara and Seidenberg as well, they were being out-matched in speed by Chicago. Things seemed to settle a bit more when that happened. Back to Boston, but momentum definitely Chicago's now....still, Go Bruins!

Good news on lack of further damage, Shelly. And good luck with the new PT!

Have been reading that Carl Soderberg (aka the Yeti) may be playing for our 4th line. Good talent, but hadn't played much NHL at all (a few games before playoffs, after coming over from SEL). Hoping he is a surprise success! He didn't look bad in the games he played, but it was very clear he was not used to the NHL (rink size, game speed and physicality). But it seems he has some good skills.

"It's Super" End of Doc.....and off to the surf

Enjoy CJ and Dan!

Kimball Farm? Sounds like a grand time!

B's lost in Vancouver for game 5, won at home, then shut down Vancouver for game 7 back in 2011. At worst, hoping for a repeat of that. At best, a win in Chicago and then at home, raising the cup in front of the Boston fans!!

Grumble, grumble....yeah, Gene is right.... B's defense looked ugly tonight, but credit Hawks for pressuring....

That was the type of game I love! Good team game by the Bruins. And Paille with his second game-winner of the series! Funny video (audio) of Saturday night's goal in OT, Seguin is screaming like a schoolgirl. http://sunbelthockey.com/has-tyler-seguin-hit-puberty-yet/

Good idea Jacob.....hope the old lady makes out OK, though. Back from visit to my dad's, nice time and always good food. Glad to see/hear of the good times for other fathers.....

What you all said! Hope the day/time is good for everyone. Had a nice day yesterday, went to southern Maine with Karen and Andrew. After some attitude, Andrew cheered up (a hefty-portioned Lobster Roll helped I'm sure!) and the day was great. Saw the Bruins win last night, and off to my dad's today for a BBQ.

Bruins hung in by a thread in first period, Hawks indeed dominated. Tuukka kept them alive. Dan "Stone Hands" Paille in OT, though.....his hustle showed tonight, good on Julien to put Seguin and his speed on that line. Seguin's been improving a fair bit, and his passes have been real good the last few games. Back to Boston, let's win the home games!

Dunno, kind of makes the complaints about men peeing in the shower a moot point.... Good luck with whatever rework is being done Mikey!

Got this in email last night This is un-frigging-believable! The odds are ~ 1 in 1,000 that you can even make this first stage of match, and out of ~150 people we registered over 3 events, we have had FOUR matches so far! One of then is a very good friend of ours..... Was very happy to show this to my son.....he was smiling quite a bit (and considering he's a 14 yo boy, that's a lot!) EDIT: Dusty didn't say it, I just quoted his post to put it in more easily

Dang....but what a game!!! Bruins in trouble if Horton is out....time for Soderberg to try?

Happy belated, hope you may still be celebrating!

^^ Jets fans probably see it as an indictment of the lunacy of their organization if Tebow does well somewhere Lots of chit-chat on the radio in Boston, already getting fucking annoying. The 2-6 slot on our local sports talk radio has a near-fan-boy (Mike Felger) who riles things up with visions of Tebow playing alongside Brady. At least the morning people recognize it for what it is and decide to talk little about that and more about hockey.

I heard he doesn't have the hands to be a good TE (at least not the Patriots receiver-type TE). I think he'd be a decent half-back with blocking skills..... But if the Belichik and the other coaches can teach him, so much the better, he seems to be an overall good athlete. Belichik should also be able to minimize the circus of media around Tebow, too. Or..... He could still be a bust and get released before the season even starts.
