Oh, wow.....LOVED Harvey Korman in so many things, especially the live skits with Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett show..... I'm so glad we had this time together.....RIP Harvey.

I'll be there, will have some gear but for non-audio stuff will bring something nice for a toast to Tom. If you care to jump on H-F you'll see the list, some good folks will be there.

+1, very cool!

Just heard a great one on the radio.....if anyone has heard the annoying yet catchy 1-877-KARS4KIDS jingle (page link), they played a great alternative. Normally the lyrics are "1-887-KARS4KIDS, K-A-R-S KARS4KIDS, 1-887-KARS4KIDS, donate your car today...." I just heard "1-855-KIDS4KARS, K-I-D-S KIDS4KARS, 1-855-KIDS4KARS, donate your kid today...."

Feel better Brent....did you and/or the kids get a flu shot?

Happy Spring! We had some VERY slight "sleety" accumulation on the grass this a.m., nothing bad.

It's been a freaky weird day, lots of odd things and odd behavior with systems and people. So had to listen to a little Fred Lane

Hope it's not too bad Shelly, heal well and quickly....definitely worth getting an opinion for form..... Me: back from a whirlwind weekend in NJ, Bar-Mitzvah and other family togetherness.....made great time driving, both ways....

Bummer on Asheton....I was glad to see the Asheton's reunite with Iggy. Even when Ron died, it was good to see them still going. And RIP Jack Kinzler; what an interesting story!

Good luck Dusty! Hopefully a good match. Happy Belated Larry, sounds like a great day! And sorry to hear of the forgotten SD card, CJ. But at least you got to see the sunrise, yes? Was it at least worth that?

I saw/heard some of this today, pretty interesting!

Happy Birthday Adam! Hope you are out enjoying instead of reading this now.....

Keep me/us updated, Nate....I can still drive down, we can discuss logistics if you think that things can still work out and you want/need the ride. Last spring, I left my house around 5:30am, got there in plenty of time and had a ball; and I stayed at a hotel overnight, coming back fairly early Sunday. I have extended family there (Oyster Bay), but knowing I wasn't going to see them much at all, decided not to freeload....

At this stage, price seems to be the best thing going for it as a player, if it brings the expected audio quality. For me, still interested if the music store can deliver the quantity of music, for a decent price (and on a thought, will it have any kind of DRM embedded?). Ultimately, we'll see if it can compete with things like itunes and the venerable i-devices for much larger audience outside the audiophile circle.
