Glad everyone here is OK, sorry to hear about your sister....hope the recovery is OK for her family and others.

I think they look quite nice for standard shaped speakers. That room looks familiar, too, I think I heard some YG Acoustics speakers there (driven by some likely-older Moon Audio gear) when Karen and I visited SF a few years ago.

Wow, sturdy plants they be..... Grahame, I'll reach out to a buddy of mine who's at Cloudera, will see if he might be able to get me one or two....
-
It does have some volume control issue, hence the good price. The Matrix stuff - I've had 3 of their products before - is very good, but I think it always falls a little short of the competition (albeit more expensive). EDIT: IMO
-
^^^ That is awesome, I know several (including myself) who would love that....

Yup, sorry, was still in my "bypass the amp" mode!
-
Ric, per the quote I had from Sony's literature, the analog inputs are NOT routed to the line out.....so no vinyl, unless you ADC it first and feed one of the digital inputs.....
-
Yup....I have that voice going through my head about once a week.......

Even if the amp can't, it has RCA outputs. Can't tell if it's volume controlled or not, but thinking it's fixed output. Per Sony's literature: Just opens up another option for an external amp for your LS-50's-to-be....

Good idea Bryan, better to be conservative. If you need some basic connectivity, perhaps get a pre-paid phone? Always good to have in emergency.....

Absolutely hilarious! And again Happy Belated Birthday

Happy Birthday ian!

That doesn't sound nice, Brent, as others say please get it checked out. Urgent care now, worry bout PCP later IMO...

I'm with you Tom. My pre-order was September, and it IS good, but also my last order too.

I owned the Meridian Explorer, didn't do many comparisons, but the sound signature was fairly similar I thought between that and the GO. Clean, detailed. The Meridian MAY have had a touch more bass impact, literally certain tracks seem to impact me less with the GO. But no complaints overall with either, both very good. BTW, the Meridian also doesn't control volume on its own, it uses the source machine's volume control.....

And what do your puppy and baby play with, Ricky I get some of this with my Lambda-related phones, less with the 007.

Do some research on opinions on the x300a's I'd say. Can't remember where, but I read that more than one person was slightly disappointed in them (I seem to recall cabinet vibrations affecting the tone), though maybe it was in comparison to the LS-50's....for the price they may be quite nice. FYI, too, they are on sale even cheaper at Accessories4less.com.....

You are amazingly right, Jacob. RIP to one classy and beautiful woman!

Nice! I bet it'll drive the Senn's better,,,,, I've been actually quite enjoying mine. Definitely eeks out more detail than the iDSD Nano....and the slightly leaner sound doesn't bother me at all.....may just be the warmth of the iDSD is less neutral.
