  1. Nice^^ Eva Cassidy did a great version of Son Of A Preach her Man, too....
  2. Found on FB, gave me a small chuckle
  3. I lust a bit after those Buchardt Audio Anniversary 10's....they use the Purifi woofer, which is supposed to be a dynamic, high-excursion, low distortion, and really good sounding driver.....
  4. Awesome, congrat!!
  5. IMO, the Lavry DAC's were very good in their time.....DA-10 (which I owned and liked), and DA-11 (never owned, but heard once at a show and seemed to like).
  6. Very Happy Birthday!
  7. Very Happy Birthday!!!
  8. Very Happy Birthday!!
  9. ^^ Got it in my Roon library, thanks Ian!
  10. Happy Birthday!!
  11. Couple interesting designs...think the second one should be called Ticehorn? 😄
  12. This does still potentially scare me. According to latest reports, negotiations have resulted in Wagner/Prigozhin in "exile" in Belarus in exchange for not being prosecuted. The news is calling it a blow against Putin, but if somehow they reconcile, it indeed does leave a large force there for relatively quick deployment....
  13. As much as I grew up with and like/love many of those bands, I wouldn't pay that $ or face that crowd. I've been lucky enough to see my favorites, The Chameleons, several times in one form or another. And they definitely still have "it."
  14. "Design Feature" 😃
  15. Very Happy Birthday Kerry!!
  16. Moderators: can we please change the site name to poisonousclan.com? Kthxbye
  17. As members of my tribe would say....Oy fuckin' vey....!
  18. And now that song and the you tube link is always there to remind me....of Always Something There To Remind Me 😄
  19. Pulled out an old CD I haven't listened to in years, specifically because I was reminded of their great cover of Wichita Lineman.
  20. Please forgive me if I don't feel bad.....
  21. I remember him! There was also a movie/documentary about him IIRC....he was a genuine wrestler from Iran, and a true strong man. RIP....
  22. I couldn't get past 2 minutes....holy shit that guy is an ass! And I DON'T need that head POV camera and all its motions....
  23. Is that a milksnake? Or something more sinister?
  24. My favorite Cowboy Junkies album is Caution Horses. Not as well recorded as The Trinity Sessions, but I like the music more. Sun Comes Up It's Tuesday Morning is just a beautiful stream of consciousness gritty song, and 'Cause Cheap Is How I Feel evokes a ton of feeling as well.... There was a newer release in the last few years, called Sharon, that has some of the first recordings from the album; it was a failed attempt to do similar single-mic recording as Trinity, but the space wasn't as good. Just some interesting stories around the making of the record.... Of course, I was in love with Margo Timmins too, so that helps the enjoyment 🙂
  25. RIP to my "Aunty Joyce." She was great friends with my mom from their early teens, and they lived in the same hometown for a bunch of years when they first raised a family; one of my best friends is her son. She was a kind and smart woman who still had a wonderful and sometimes biting sarcasm; I suppose that made her one of my favorites, too. She went downhill quickly, after an Alzheimer's diagnosis; though the signs were there longer. Larry lost his older brother to cancer more than a decade ago. Several years back his dad passed; and now his mom. My heart goes out to him as well. RIP Joyce, will certainly raise a glass tonight.
