Actually I bought esp950 first then found out the sound not to my liking with e90 so i gathered enough courage to buy kgss based on what i find. and i did not regret it a bit......as this is my first venture into electrostat

thanks sprit.....actually i'm mustering my financial ability (and skimming away money from my wife) to see if I have a stomach to buy the omega since I have the kgss already. but i have hesitation and the last thing i want to happen is for me to spend 2G and find out like its like "shit, this is it?". Mind you I cannot audition omega in my areas/country

Guys, got my KGSS.......I'm not raving about how good it is with my ESP950 but shit, its good. Anyway, if SRM007 Mk2+KGSS is 100% then how would you guys rate ESP950+KGSS ? 60? 70? or 90 ? Any input appreciated. Thanks

sorry, couldnt find a way how to edit my post above or is there one ? Anyway, would it be useful for me to adjust the bias to 620 at all ? because according to some other forum there's no benefit in doing the adjustments ?

guys....just got my kgss but have not try it yet though as i'm still on the road. question: how to adjust the bias to 620V? from default 590 i believe.....justin have not responded to me yet so far

i saw lots and lots of question over at HF asking what portable can drive this headphone. I owned 701 and headsix. Obviously it cannot drive it. I tried various Ray Samuels, Ibasso none can drive it too. Havent tried Larocco, Lisa and the likes, but from what I read, no luck on that either. Can the experts here once and for all agreed that it is not possible? At least with the portables out in the market currently?

penger - i live in indonesia and travels to HK frequently.....looking @buying it from HK headphoneaddict - no way i'm going to search for another amp to synergize (is this even a word?) those headphones, been spending too much. It'll have to fit my existing setup or i'll just sell the ms1 and use the money to buy something else:) thanks fr the input so far. Maybe the best for me is to find used ad2k. Cheaper and safer bet

@manaox - i've put it aside for the moment while waiting for the kgss.....sticking with dynamic for now @pete - i've been meaning to find it used but so far have not found a good deal.....from this part of the world where i can buy it new, i cant even audition it.....
