fwiw, you could've bought a sony for each eye for less than what i paid:)... srsly, though, that was a stellar deal...'specially if you didn't hafta pay tax...sony typically wins the war as far as richness of color...you don't hafta worry about orange or green crush...& samsung's color reproduction is typically too cool.... plus, it's 2" bigger!...

just short of three grand for the 50" 101fd (the best) if you can find it at magnolia...more like four, five or six grand for the 60" (the 141fd)...totally worth it...only the newest Runcos allegedly compete... 3d is shit this generation...you'd need 120Hz on each eye, 4 pairs of $150 glasses for the kids & hdmi 1.4 which, btw, is going to be replaced before it gets a foothold by an ethernet cable standard...

have the same...never had any issues...i thought about getting the 23" version when it came out (there was a pretty crazy sale price), but anything i want to watch in 1080P i'm probably going to send through my OPPO and onto my pride & joy... kuro elite signature ftmfw:)...

well i'm a big fan...but maybe it's partly due to the fond memories from back then...iirc, that bar had a sign up saying the girls had to be 19 to get in & the guys 23:)... & with the DFH, i think if i hadn't read the label of the Theobroma first i would've been angry for paying so much...it is a very strange taste...maybe i should give Sah'Tea another shot...but if you don't like it i'll move on...

how do you like the Kwak?...i first had it on tap in Stockholm...at the time, they served it in a “Kwak Glass” with a bulbous bottom & wooden handle much like you would find at a place that serves “yards of beer” here...it was great, but i could only find it mail order until recently...now it's everywhere...even in 750mL bottles... i tried that Sah'Tea &, as far as their ancient ales series is concerned, i think Midas Touch > Chateau Jiahu > Theobroma > Sah'Tea, but they're all worth trying...plus the whole in the wall i got it at couldn't find a price for it so they offered it for $8.99:)...
