  1. Buckeye Brewing Hippie IPA....like a homebrew only w/o the freshness...like someone took a brewing class:)...but it's definitely drinkable...shows how great IPA is as a style... & more Hopslam:)...
  2. & it was delicious...
  3. http://www.computeraudiophile.com/content/Phasure-NOS1-vs-Pacific-Microsonics-Model-Two guess they have a return period, but i seem to have misplaced my five grand...
  4. on my last mini-keg of Hopslam...everyone's expecting a second wave/batch to hit shortly...
  5. Sierra Nevada Hoptimum Whole Hop Double IPA.... A double-dry-hopped and torpedoed DIPA (~9.5%) made at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp for SF Beer Week 2010... seriously hoppy...like it...I hear that their Hopsichord is even better but, afaik, it's only available on draft...

The Box is awesome for QI & F1 too... although my OPPO doesn't like something about the way that guy encodes...it's specific to his uploads...comes out splotchy...trying to find out what he does differently w/o sounding ungrateful...

I like TvT as they keep every episode of every season archived & are pretty good at circulating the 720P versions...but someone over at The Box is putting out the 1080P versions this season...I'm assuming he's just deinterlacing the 1080i 50Hz British feed... I pay to get BBC America HD & would gladly pay to have the episodes on blu-ray...
  8. North Coast Twentieth Anniversary Ale... 67% ale brewed with agave nectar and aged in oak barrels, 33% ale brewed with agave nectar...12.5% ABV....didn't like it...just didn't work for me...overly fruity...maybe better with age...
  9. still haven't had the pleasure of freedom groping a Tom Bihn up close...but I will say that I'm extremely happy with my Red Oxx Sky Train & Gator bag... the Gator Bag does count as a personal item...seeing as you can't use the pockets for beverages any longer, you can stuff them with socks etc....put boxers on the bottom...in conjunction with the Sky Train you can get a solid week's worth of clothes in there, but I prefer going with maybe a four day package planning on one laundry service... the separation of the compartments also allows you to keep your cleans from your dirties if you're on the move...say if you want to keep your bagged sandy Vibrams from your dress slacks...the compression straps are splendid... I enjoy very much booking a window seat on the longest leg of my journey then snagging the aisle seat as close to the exit as I can get for the last transfer...I have the Gator on my lap, wait for the bing (sometimes jumping the gun a little) & grab the Sky Train from the side handle & then DART down the aisle as far as I can before I'm slowed by the quickest elderly person... I'm understandably single, though...can't imagine this working traveling w/a group...
  10. three 375mL bottles of Lost Abbey Angel's Share (Brandy)...isn't available in Indiana so had to pay too much online... & three bombers of Firestone-Walker Double Jack to reach the six bottle minimum...cool that F-W is available in Chicago now, but easier to ship it in...
  11. I will drink a glass of Hopslam in your honor... & one for Jack Nicklaus...& one for Jam Master Jay...Benny Hill...Telly Savalas...Richard D. Winters...Wolfman Jack...Charles V...Billy Ocean...Baby Spice...
  12. “I agree with brown Jamie Lee Curtis”....possibly the best line from Community ever... then, I watched W.C. Fields in The Fatal Glass of Beer...not bad for 1933... wish i knew what they were using as fake snow...
  13. sbux italian...starting today, you can pay at any location by scanning your iPhone...just wanted to try it out as similar programs i've used haven't worked... I accumulate gift cards from those that don't care for their coffee...'s too bad I let 'em sit in my wallet for so long...but I still had over $9... but her scanner was down heh...so she took my iPhone & just entered the number...glad I decided to try it when there was no line...
  14. Upland Brewing Co. Peach Lambic... i know...sucks to be me...
  15. more Hopslam from mini-keg...delightful...
  16. Phasure NOS1 DAC... I'm just trying to find more info on this...possibly from someone who has the means to own a 2900 euro DAC:)... seems to be a little more info elsewhere in the XXHighEnd forums...

  22. three mini-kegs of Bell's Hopslam...
  23. http://www.3floyds.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/beer-menu-1208101.html too bad it looks like they've already run out of Surly Klaus...they just mentioned it maybe four days ago...I might be up there soon for Jinx Proof bombers...
  24. i saw it on reddit...otherwise, i wouldn't have known...
  25. I think it's quite a bit better than The Pacific... Richard Winters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ^^just because his passing didn't get a lotta coverage with everything else that's been going on...
