I'm waiting/hoping there'll be a big beer event at Rattle 'N' Hum in the next couple/few months as I'm supposed to visit my half-brother in Jersey City...I know they're doing that Belgian thing, but there wasn't anything on the docket worth chasing...
Founders Backstage Series Blushing Monk...a sumptuous dessert beer that reminds me of the less expensive Lindemans Framboise Lambic...
still quite a treat:)...
Founders Devil Dancer Triple IPA....WEED...not grassy/hoppy...WEEDY...I don't recall previous batches being so...well...heh...wonder how long it took them to get the seeds out...
I'm in the market for a two person (rated for ~400-450lbs.) outdoor hammock with stand...
I've tried various hardware & sporting goods stores to no avail...there are many places that offer hammocks online but do not keep a supply in-store...I'm not against ordering it online, but would prefer to have a strong firsthand recommendation before going that route...
price isn't much of an issue & I should have enough space for most models...
any help would be appreciated...& no, I haven't tried the Hammock District...
Great Divide Belgian Style Yeti...drinks like a chocolate porter w/a Belgian yeast strain...meh...
also had FFF Arctic Panzer Wolf & New Albanian Beak's Best on tap...
picked up another growler of Gumballhead:)...
ya, they did...but I seriously plugged my ears & started humming etc....I HATE when shows do shit like that...House even does it right before the show starts...argh...
fyi, @BBC_TopGear is a good follow on Twitter...
I'll letcha know:)...I ended up going to Dilly Deli for beer shopping...
drank Gumballhead, Victory Summer & 21st Amendment Hop Crisis earlier...
I really like oaked IIPAs...damn...
New Glarus Unplugged IIPA....this could be called a Pliney (Elder) clone...so it's great...
New Glarus Two Women Lager...Vienna Lager...more flavorful than any other lager in memory...wish they had something like this in Indy...
New Glarus Unplugged Imperial Weizen...not thick & syrupy but still manages to deliver twice the goods...
N.G. is one of those breweries that doesn't make a bad beer...had one of their R & D Golden Ales before this...part of one 160bbl batch...had the same beer earlier in the year/thread...was brewed in June of 2009...fun to track a beer's development...
I'm not keen on ST in general, but they do make a couple beers I enjoy...Krampus is decent...anyways, I'm a sucker for an oaked IPA & this is very drinkable...the oak makes something ordinary into sonething worth consuming...it still doesn't touch White Oak Jai Alai, though:)...
Southern Tier Oak Aged un*earthly...we didn't get the oak aged for a spell...had to drive to Ohio...good to have it back...it's my favorite Southern Tier...
