  1. Sun King Cream Dream IV: A New Hop... great fuckin' name...& they made a poster, too...
  2. alright...will need help understanding rules etc., but I'm in... Bears just signed Roy Williams & Vernon Gholston...
  3. Dreadnaught on tap...silly good...
  4. Hair of the Dog Blue Dot Double IPA on tap...good stuff...not overdone...
  5. do wanna stress--that's an epic selection to be proud of...& wise to have a couple of each brand (in most cases)...but are you stretching it over the weekend?...where's the water cooler?...where's the judges' table?...

    Top Gear

you're srsly missin' out if you're not followin' on twitter...I'll try to post some links when in a better state...but they had Roger Daltry in the Lotus T125 & behind the scenes with Rowan Atkinson... Richard Hammond's Journeys series is ok, but not as engrossing as Oz & James...but still an educational series I'd rather of had in grade school than the crap thrust upon us...
  7. long ago I decided on Redbreast & Laphroaig...enjoy the RB 15, too bad you don't have any 10 Cask Strength in the mix... more 120 Minute for myself...
  8. Bell's Golden Rye...it's ok....just wanted to cross it off the list...would rather be drinkin' an Oarsman which they also have on tap... Bell's Raspberry Ale...again, crossing it off the list...will likely never deliberately have this again...
  9. gas station coffee... apparently, Arizona now makes a Pink Lemonade Arnold Palmer...intend to try that posthaste...
  10. I usually have to drive to Ohio for Speedway Stout, so having the (vintage) Barrel Aged version in Indy was a treat...really lucked out...used some name dropping etc to get behind the tables at the distributor's tent...I have a feeling this bottle was given to a distributor as a freebie because of a torn label...or it could just be because it was on ice before I got there (FFF's labels, for instance, are always coming off)...I'm used to the silver foil...now I know the gold is for barrel aged versions... anyways, it was even more awesome than the normal version...
  11. looking good... I had a New Albanian Naughty Girl Blonde IPA yesterday...& an Avery/Russian River Collaboration Not Litigation Ale (inspired by them both having a beer named Salvation)...the Naughty Girl was quite alright, but the Litigation, despite having a healthy head, tasted quite flat... also had what I thought were my last Evil Power & Ragnarok just now...but found one more of each that I still might consume tonight:)... I realize that I still haven't said all that I had at the Indiana Microbrewers Festival...but it's a long list...the highlight was probably a 2007 Barrel Aged Alesmith Speedway Stout, though!...
  12. Laphroaig 18...
  13. ^^I only have 2 of my original 30 left:)... watched the two oldest minor league teams duke it out at Victory Field... had an Oaken Barrel Victory Amber, Flat12 Half-Cycle IPA & a Sun King 1887 Alt... now I'm at Tavern on South enjoying a Mai Tai with some sort of pineapple infused something...
  14. DFH 120Minute...'08 vintage...very nice:)...
  15. ^^congratulations:)...
  16. 10,000 BTUs & a coffee...
  17. Hop Crisis then sleep...
  18. Tyranena Fargo Brothers...like it better than anything else they do...on tap, it's highly sessionable...
  19. Two Brothers Hop Juice on tap... think I'll just make one post for tomorrow (microbrewers festival) & just include notable pics...it's difficult to post during fests...
  20. Stone Imperial Russian Stout...
  21. Westvleteren 8 & then 12... both tasted candied to me...trying to read the best by to determine vintage, but it was immediately apparent that the 12 I took to Jackie O's was amongst the best beers on Earth...that one we pegged as a 2006...it's as if this one hasn't gone through the metamorphosis... still...all things considered:)... also forgot to mention that someone whipped out a bottle of Isabelle Proximus circa 2007 (nutso rare) earlier...
  22. Cuvee Des Jacobins Rouge...probably the best beer had on tap tonight...not too sweet...good stuff...coming soon to bottles... Upland Persimmon Lambic...quite a sugary, tropical nose... Upland Raspberry Lambic...good, but behind blueberry, blackberry & persimmon methinks... Lost Abbey Framboise de Amorosa...I brought this one...probably best Raspberry base beer I've had...Lost Abbey is incredible... Brugge Spider King...they (Brugge) rarely have this on... Hannsens Oudbeitje Lambic...at first I thought this was as horrible as the pic I took, but the strawberry kick is worth the initial discomfort... Professor Fritz Briem 1809 Berliner Weisse...do NOT smell this one...just enjoy...
  23. Smuttynose BIG BEER Series Baltic Porter...fwiw, this is one of my favorite beers...& I found it (22oz) at Dilly Deli (Cafe now?) outside Cincy for $5.99!...it's bottle conditioned & there are rumors of a special version seeing limited bottle release...
  24. ^^yep... FFF Blackheart...even better on tap, baby!... a special dry hopped, orange peeled edition of Sun King Osiris Pale Ale from a firkin...Clay (the Brewer) is here with his crew... & a FFF/Sun King Three Kings Pale Ale to even the score:)...
  25. CCB Humidor Series IPA....mmm cedar...
