Ha, Jim. We had no proper beer glasses here, so that is a stemless white wine glass (eat your heart out, Greg) ... gets the job done, though. Thanks for the photo props, Scott. Nothing like a little sunset backlighting to enhance a beer photo, eh?

Great thread, V ... major props for thinking of and starting. I loves my Birkenstock Arizonas ... they've made my feet healthy and comfy for years ... I'm also on the Red Oxx Gator band wagon. That little bag will go anywhere and do anything ... carry on, photo gear, walk around with lunch and water, and much moar = anytime, anywhere. More posts to come. Thanks for starting this, Vicki.

Moved on to Allagash Victor - Belgian Ale brewed with grapes. Good, but the Dubbel Reserve was moar bettah. raffy - slip out the back door if you want to escape the pursuing horde.
-
^^^^ That is a manly mix, raffy. Is your chest hair multiplying? Glad you got to the Proto 27, Al. Interesting story there. me = Allagash Dubbel (reserve, batch 96). Lovely stuff, and it's one of my locals here in Maine.

I'm in, boys and girls. Yup, there's a new sheriff in town.

x2 Shelly. That's the one that caught my eye too, Mikey. Cheers, indeed.

Lion is doing fine on 15" mbp. Like reks, I've SL'd it. Only issue is Amarra plugin wants itunes to run in 32 bits. I'll just wait for 64 bit plug in from Amarra. So far mission control and launch pad are very meh.

Haj ... hope the schnoz feels a bit better by now. Shelly - very rewarding for you to have that young student share the love.

rip, Catherine. You had a wonderful life, and leave behind a wonderful family and example for others. Deepest sympathies, Al.

CCB Vuja De (crummy iPhone image) American Wild Ale - 9.96% ABV "Ale with Black Currants, Locally Foraged Lemon Leaves, Hibiscus, Cane Sugar and Elderberry Flowers. I love this stuff … has tart and sour goodness in a medium to full body Flemish Red type ale. Looks great, smells great, and tastes great … what's not to like?

Johnny Gold looks good, Stretch. Clown Shoes ain't bad either, raffy. Me = dfh My Antonia - "A continuously hopped Imperial Pils". Almost like an ipa - me like.

Mike ... the Beanos PR5 or Flying Boxcar both are 2400 cu in and are carry on - choose by weather you want outside pockets on ends (Beanos) or side (Boxcar). I would wager that you can stuff either with as much or more than the Aeronaut can hold. I easily make do for two weeks with Sky Train plus Sun Chaser. The Sun Chaser will easily fit under seat, and Sky Train in overhead, which you could do with Aeronaut + Sun Chaser. The Sun Chaser can be stuffed and stuffed with lots of stuff, even though it specs out at just 1539 cu in. It is ideal for shoes, underwear, sweaters, jeans, etc, etc, and the outside pockets are very handy.

wtf ... where's my Lion and MBA? Looks like next week?

DFH Red & White while watching MLB All Star game. Life is good.

fab looking brisket, Mike. New grill? Don't you have like 4 already, including a Traeger and Big Green Egg? What else is there?
-
Damn! That looks tasty, Mr Stretch. Have you tried it yet?
-
Welcome home, Al and family, and hearty congrats too Claire for the well deserved tenure.

Todd ... That is effing amazing that you got to actually get up close and personal with the cup. I think that is one thing that makes hockey more of a "peoples sport" than the other pro money grabbing affairs. Oh, was that your dad in the pic?

Sorry, fitz, this is a tale that can only be told in person by the light of a sacred campfire. FU facebook, myspace, twitter, and all your ilk.
-
Colin ... you are killing me (and fitz). I LOVE falafels, and would kill for a good one. Here are 2 gratuitous iPhone shots from me and raffy hanging in Sarasota ... @ Mr Beery's we had a Smuttynose Robust Porter (and many others including Scupin IPA on tap) in honor of Nate, and all the H-C faithful ... Then, it was off to the Cock 'n Bull (of NightWoundsTime Kumbaya fame) for a few more (while some local indie bands played - they didn't suck) Here's a Sea Bass toast to all of Head-Case ...

Nice, Greg. What wine pairing fir that?
