  1. dinny ... get your skinny Irish ass down to B&H and check out a bunch in person. From personal experience, I'll 2nd the Think Tank Retro 5 - 10 and Gator with insert, and switch up the Domke to the F-3x.
  2. RIP, Donna. Remember her stuff flying off the racks when I had record/audio store back in the '80s. She was unquestionably the queen of that era.
  3. grats on the 7k, Dinny - you will love it. Fantastic pics, cj. Damn, how does your ugly butt have such a gorgeous sis?
  4. Yes, Dinny, BlackRapid. You want the RS4. I have an extra you can have for cheap, if you want it. I know Colin has one if you want to check one out before buying.
  5. Happy Birthday, Chris.

  9. Watch out for the gators, Mike.
  10. 2nd the Laphroaig 10 as a great value that pleases. If you want to try an Irish, look for Michael Collins peated. It's no Lagavulin, but goes down easy and tastes good. Anxiously awaiting Mikey's chiming in here.
  11. Happy Birthday, Ari! Enjoy the day immensely.
  12. Happy Birthday, Matt.
  13. Happy Birthday, Shelly. Have a terrific day.
  14. Dinny ... If you end up getting from b&h, and are needing a hood, I think there's one in my closet. Will check when I get home on Sat.
  15. Nice, Mikey, and Grahame beat me to the "Bambi for dinner" line. What did you use to catch them?
  16. Congrats on a place to live, Bryen. Shelly, you are a certified food outlaw. Me = made it to Jamaica. Just south of Mo Bay in a nice house on a hill. No beer here - only Red Stripe, but it's cold and plentiful.
  17. Good stuff, Mike. Glad you and your precious are reunited and the waiting was worth it. Happy listening.
  18. ^^^ very cool, Mike ... you are a great dad. Congrats to Brit.
  19. Here's a few from Hopetown on Elbow Cay in the Bahama out islands. Just did a boat delivery over to there, and stayed a few days for fun. Went to Marsh Harbour on Abaco. Anyone who's been over there should recognize these ... Note that these are all snaps rom a Canon s100 - jpegs pretty much sooc Jib Room Marina in Marsh Harbor Lotus ... the 44 ft Island Gypsy trawler I brought over from Sarasota Hopetown harbor - like a little pond after a very narrow entrance The cook at "On Da Beach" beach bar ... delicious tuna with grilled veggies Front view of Hopetown Methodist church View from back of Hopetown Methodist (cool or what?) Flowers on Back Street - no vehicles allowed in Old Town Hopetown Giant (20" across) Red Sea Star in White Bay in about 2 ft of water
  20. Man, I've missed a lot in a week and a half. Condolences on dads. Archos and Al. Cancer truly does sick, and Al, I can't imagine how stressful that phone call must have been with you somewhat helpless on one end. Congrats on daughter being a Dukie, Larry. Keep running and losing, Shelly. Bug in the eye sucks, Bryan - hope better by now. Am sure I'm forgetting a lot, but am thinking of all of you ... Me - just back from that boat delivery to Abaco (Bahamas out islands). Great trip, and stayed a few days over there to soak up the island vibes. Tomorrow it's off to Jamaica for a week, so will be somewhat scarce again. Should be less busy, with better interwebs connection, though, so hopeful can stay caught up. This is White Bay on Elbow Cay (Hopetown) ...
  21. JP, Mike, and Raffy rocking the Swamp ... Nice.
