  1. ^^^ Well spoken, Mario. Perhaps Brazilian futbol will learn and grow from the experience.
  2. Juan ... Southern Maine is more about scenery than serious riding. If you want challenge, go inland a bit to the lakes and mountains. Here are some links that may help ... Maine by Bike (not really - just Portland area) The Eastern Trail - eventually goes from Calais, ME all the way down the east coast. but more of a vision, now. If you want a nice day, ride from Old Orchard to Casco Bay Ferry Lines in Portland, take the bike via boat to any of the islands - Peaks is quickest. Then do a 'round island ride, grab food and brew at local island haunt and ferry, ride back home.
  3. ^^^ Sad, indeed, Chris. But, I gotta ask - what about that stump and roots? Did tree guys leave them? I lost a beautiful Chestnut tree in Maine many, many years ago, but it was self service. Managed to fell it with chain saw without having it fall on house or nearby phone/power lines, and pretty easy to then cut and split into firewood, and mulch small stuff in rented chipper. The stump and roots were a six month project, however. Timing was good, as tree came down in October, and remains were left to deal with in the following spring (yay, early snow). I remember taking a whole weekend to finish the job come next May.
  4. Poor Brazil, indeed. Have Brazilian friends, and they are heartbroken. Tomorrow is the real deal, though, and Germany may have more of a challenge than everyone thinks. Still thinking I will be having a German beer after the game, though.
  5. RIP, Tommy and Charlie.
  6. Handsome watch, Jack.
  7. ^^^ Nice, Mikey. Did you take the path less traveled by? Did it make all the difference?
  8. Great game. Der Dutchmen worked their asses off, and did deserve the win, but, damn, Costa Rica made them earn it, and almost pulled it off in regulation. Well done CR.
  9. Not a bad finish, either. Another great game.

  13. Happy Birthday, Greg. Cheers ...
  14. It has definitely been a wild ride with many twists and turns. Fun as hell to watch, unless you are invested in a team that comes up short in one of those twists and turns (Mexico). Huge day tomorrow for the U S of A.
  15. ^^^ Damn, that looks tasty!
  16. Happy Birthday, Anurag! Enjoy the day.
  17. Ouch, ouch, ouch, Jacob. May you heal fast, and I'm sure the tasty guac soothed the pain somewhat.
  18. Happy Birthday, Scott. Enjoy the day.
  19. ^^^ Definitely! Transporter is ON, and set to delicious.
