IMHO this show has just gotten better and better. It started out as above average and as the fan base grew, so did the maturity of the writing. The season 6 Premier was amazing and put the show right up there with some of the best of the new gen tv.

That's what I was thinking too. But I started checking out a site for electronic music composers http://www.idmforums.com/ and there's some small interest in releasing original music on cassette. In fact, it seems like there are a good number of places you can get your music produced on cassette (particularly in the UK). The cost of producing small runs is ultra low and their product will stand out. Maybe it's just a gimmick or a passing fad, but I like to see people gather around niche products and ideas. So, I think it's mostly about fun and nothing else.

These were just released Sept. 18th and immediately sold out at most of the big sellers like Amazon. I believe the only overlap might be with the CD 10: Marcel Dupré - Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony since it features the Detroit Sym w/Paray. Tom seems to think that cd turned out particularly well in the Dupre set.

Marc, you and other classical music fans should check out the new Marcel Dupre Mercury Living Presence releases. Some folks think it could be the best organ recordings from the golden age. The remastering was to get better fidelity rather than changing the sound of the original masters. That's a great deal. At least Amazon plainly states that the regular price is $99 after a year. It really pisses me off when I have to hunt or beg for that info when I join at an intro price!

I really enjoyed it. Being based on a true story, shouldn't make a difference but it did for me. Well crafted and moving IMHO.

Blindspot seemed pretty formulaic (but what isn't?). Just didn't hold my attention very well. I'll give it a few more tries though. Of course, I'm totally hooked on The Strain so what do I know?
