Congrats to the Cavs and Cleveland! Coming back from 1-3 is a feat in any sport and must be a mind bending stress on the brain of everyone on the team. Tough to see our Warriors be the ones on the short end of the "one for the ages" championship but IMHO in this day of deep analysis of every player you go up against, it is very tough to repeat championships anymore. LB played an amazing game 7 and as they say, left it all on the court!

Another terrible incident! RIP Jo Cox. IMHO the demonizing of whoever the opposition is is out of hand. I can remember liberal minded friends (I'm a bleeding heart) surprising me with their hate of "W" Bush. I was totally against the direction he was leading the US but I didn't "hate" the guy. But all the extreme negative talk adds up and even though most folks realize to take it with a grain of salt, enough people take it as fact and a tiny minority think that taking action is the next logical step. I don't know how we can back off on the extreme rhetoric but I do think that it's a step in the right direction.

That sounds like a keeper! And it sounds pretty darn good too. It seems like most of Lang's releases have been pretty audiophile friendly. Plenty of interesting instrumentation and great mixes. That new NPR player is a god send!

I'm a little late posting this. The sale started a few days ago but you lucky New Yorkers should check this out. I've been following ARC music archives since they picked themselves up after 9/11 and they have grown in leaps and bounds. Canada may not have been the most exciting race but I find the back stories to be great. Ferrari really seems like they're just about there. Red Bull it back in the thick of things and even McLaren seems to be coming along. I'm totally looking forward to Baku this weekend!

Here's a (sort of) new ipad/iphone app that allows you to connect to your computer and send audio or midi via usb. Instead of having to rely on the onboard conversion you can send midi (round trip) or audio to whatever DAW you prefer. http://midimux.com/ The manual totally sucks and there's only a handful of shitty youtube videos but I'm loving recording GeoShred directly into Pro Tools! Oh yeah, it doesn't look like non AudioBus compliant apps will work. It's like $7.

Once I saw the Red Rose Music logo I realized when those were made. I'll keep an eye out. I took a look and I have Vol 1 which is the organ /choir album, Vol 2 which is the piano (which is awesome!) and Vol 4 with the New Haven Brass Quintet. I should dust off the turntable and give them a listen this week.

Wow Marc, I have a few of the Levinson LP's and they all sound pretty special. I bet that sounds fantastic. Is it still available?

Really enjoyed Monaco this year. The rain and wet track amplified the smallest mistakes and I was sorry to see Kimi and Verstappen go out early but it was fun to watch the strategies play out. I have to say that the virtual pace car is an awesome addition! And while I'm a "it's all about the race" kind of fan, I hope that the glitz, glamour and the royal box will always be a part of Grand Prix racing.
