RIP Uncle Bob and Robert Indiana! When I look at the images of his art, I can't help but be cast back to those heady days when everything was new to me!

Nice work Dusty! Loved the Ableton/Massive Star Trek one. I've seen lots of soft synths on the monitors in tv show backgrounds over the years. Easy pickin's I guess. -
Interesting stuff from Powersoft. Maybe a little trickle down will be coming? Powersoft specializes in commercial applications http://www.powersoft-audio.com/en/?utm_source=html_mail&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=11.05_AES_claudio

I've never used a Central Station but it's kind of old tech. Most folks use them to augment their interface/mixer to route audio to multiple monitors and headphones. Unlike an interface, it only had a dac and no ad conversion I believe. BTW I spent 5 years in a music tech program in college. I started out learning mixing/mastering and got hooked on production after finishing a series on interactive game sound. If I was to give advice it would be to volunteer for everything and be sure and do some or all of the classes on post production audio. There are more jobs involving "sound to video" than anything else out there these days and it's growing out of freakin' control.

Unfortunately, I don't know a cheap way to do that. As far as I know, it's going to require a dock with a spdif input like the OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock. https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/docks/owc-thunderbolt-3-dock It's actually more of a Presonus question so you should shoot them an email to find out what they suggest. You might be able to use a thunderbolt to hdmi adapter to an hdmi to spdif. I'd still check with Presonus though.

Looks like an amazing night out! Rosanne has really done herself and her dad proud musically and personally. Gotta a lot of respect for her.

Congrats Ken! Colin, lovin' your Youtube channel!

I totally enjoyed the race! It was great to see the folks at Force India and Perez grinning! On Sky, Paul di Resta did a great job of explaining how the RB accident happened. If it shows up on Youtube it is worth watching (shows the point of no return). Before I watch it I was dumbfounded how such gifted drivers could do something so stupid. Now I totally understand how it could happen (still taking things too close to the edge though). BTW, it's nice to wait a day before posting spoilers.

I finished processing my recordings from The Monterey Jazz Festival back in Sept. and a few tracks from the 2016 festival too. That year I was in the middle of packing up my home in San Jose and dolling it up to sell so I figured I just combine the two. If you go to my SoundCloud page I posted 6 new tracks 2 from the Joshua Redman Quartet 2016 2 from Regina Carter's Southern Comfort Band 2017 2 from a fantastic tribute to Quincy Jones with Christian McBride bass, Hubert Laws flute, Dave Grusin keys, James Carter tenor sax, Lewis Nash drums and Valerie Simpson lead vocals. Here's a taste of Josh Redman playing in one of the medium sized venues ending 2016

Fantastic race! And my compliments to ESPN for just letting the Sky programming do it's thing for the most part. I'm still loving the excellent internet video of the practices. Beautiful! No spoilers yet but there is plenty to say about what went on here!
