Hopefully the Apple guys will be able to get to the root of the problem and get you up and running properly. I've had Komplete Ultimate since 9(?) and I've had plenty of issues with their software (but I love their software). I've been lucky since I've been able to solve most issues by uninstalling/installing. Their apps have bits in lots of locations which is the reason for their problems IMHO. Not saying that it's likely the problem but it's always a possible. Good luck.

Does it seem like problems with NI products or is it whenever you have an external controller connected when you have the battery problems? What Os are you running and did your problems seem to start after upgrading the Os? Have you tried resetting the SMC/PRAM/NVRAM ? Are you using a host or running these apps in standalone? Tried uninstalling (completely) and reinstalling the problem apps? If these problems are in fact with NI apps, you should check Native Instruments website for instructions on uninstalling. Reinstall the Os. Do a clean install of your system. Oops, should have said, back up before you start to dig in (I always load any current projects on a separate drive so I can get those up and running quickly).

IMHO these machines are for not targeted toward the pro-sumer like me but for places like Bad Robot, Pixar or McLaren. It is meant to compete against the HP Z8 G4 and the like.

Can't wait to put my hands on one in person! Unfortunately, not really for my needs (at first look) but it should be popular with the video crowd. I'll probably order an i9 iMac this fall. Looks like Logic Pro X is gonna get a boost!

Chernobyl is totally chilling! Can't help but think what would happen to the world if that happened here (USA) and now! Enjoyed watching Amy Adams destroy her "nice girl", Muppets Movie image in Sharp Objects. Not perfect but still quite a story IMHO.

Stumbled across this when I was looking for a sound effect of a truck going over a speed bump. This did not fit the bill but I like it all the same.

I was shocked to see PBS Newshour show the worst spoiler on their story a day after the series ended. Luckily I'd seen episode 4 but anyone who hadn't would have been bummed. Terrible news editing in these days of "on demand" and dvrs. On another note, I have to confess that I can't stop watching cheesy YouTube interviews and such since the series ended. Makes me feel like a teenage fanboy!

RIP Niki! He was my favorite driver during my early days of following F1 in print. They used to call him Super Rat because of his teeth but after his tractor accident and surviving the fire, his determination and drive became legendary and you seldom heard that nickname again. I'll miss seeing him in the paddock.

Same here. I bought a pair of JBL L100 monitors from Warehouse Sound mail order (stab from the past). I lived with them until I got the "high end" bug.
