I just did some recordings and stage work for some of them during south bay concerts. A real honor!

Moving away from the SF Bay Area was a mostly about cost/income but I sorely miss the cultural groups there. Among them are Other Minds music family. I'm happy to say I was able to do some audio work with some of them and I still keep up with their activities online.

Awesome work! If you really want to stop Tice from singing, record him and post it here. Or maybe that's the worst idea yet!

Some recording studios used to power their consoles with a closet full of car batteries. But that was motivated by hum and other local circuit issues. I experimented with powering my Metric Halo interface/ADAC with a car battery. It worked pretty well but I can't say there was any obvious advantages. I sure would like to see someone design an "all house" dc supply so we could forget about all these friggin wall warts. Buying these POS dc power supplies over and over. What a waste!!!

Watched the series finale of Homeland last night and. thought it was a satisfying ending to a bumpy but enjoyable show. It was great to see and hear Kamasi Washington play during the episode. With the frequent Showtime freebee's, I'm happy to report that I watched all 8 seasons without spending a penny! I give it a 7 out of 10.

Seems like a lot of great archival footage is surfacing.

Just finished the latest season of Bosch! I don't think that the last 2 seasons were quite as strong plot wise but the character interactions are what really make this addictive for me.

Finished editing the recordings I made at the 2019 Monterey Jazz Festival (2020 in Sept is doubtful at this point). Here's a great blues vocal during the opening "Tribute To Mary Lou Williams" from Jean Baylor and Shamie Royston on piano. Allison Miller was the 2019 Artist in Residence. One of the groups she performed with was Parlour Game with Jenny Scheinman on violin. Snarky Puppy was the last act on the main stage. They tried to teach the audience to clap 4 against 3 during the tune "Xali".
