Wouldn't work as a carryon bag.

^ Plus the girl is not so amazing. Cute, yes, but not amazing.

I talked with Todd about this briefly last night (the TTVJ Todd). He said that he sent his pair of T50P back to Beyer and they apparently confirmed with him that there was something "wrong" with them (whatever that means) and have since sent him a replacement pair. He said that the new pair arrived the other day but he hasn't listened to them yet. I asked him if he was afraid to listen to them, and his response was "No comment". Too bad he doesn't still have the original pair on hand to make comparisons.

In my experience, a lot of those Geniuses are lost causes. Thankfully, most of them are open to suggestion and Apple seems to have a culture that supports their decisions when it comes to going the extra mile for customer service. They very commonly honor products that are ever so slightly out of warranty and replace parts that aren't technically covered, etc.

I'll have to give that a try! My neighbors will all be excited when they come home to see their yards have been cut. At least if it's anything like when I bought my first rider and had so much fun with it that I couldn't stop cutting until it ran out of gas. This should be even more exciting because you operate it with joysticks instead of a steering wheel.

A Toro zero turn lawn mower. Should be a fun gadget. This one. It will replace my much less expensive Sear's Craftsman rider which I had a bit of trouble with. Were I mechanically inclined, I'm sure I could get many more years out of it, but I decided to sell it to a lawn service company and cut my losses. Kept throwing the belt off and I had trouble starting it at times. Then when it was running well, I'd bang into something and bust the part that the blades are attached to. I'm hoping the Toro will be as indestructible as the reviews suggest it is.

Congrats! Same exact bike, down to the color scheme, that I've been drooling over for months. Want to have a Ducati to ride in Cayman, but not something as powerful as my S4RS which would be completely unmanageable here and would never get out of 2nd gear. I've been close to pulling the trigger a couple of times, but some other important things have been taking priority.

Hadn't seen that episode until I was in Mayberry. Really nice for Ariel in terms of publicity. The guys at the Atom Club are all excited about it because it seems to have created a lot of interest in Atoms in general, so their "residuals" are looking better (UK talk for resale value). Not that I'll ever sell mine.

Happy birthday! We should have celebrated it this past weekend!

Bought a ticket to Miami for this coming weekend.

Ripped my bathroom apart today. Floor tiles started lifting up for no apparent reason about a month ago. Old tile discontinued, cant find it anywhere, so had to remove countertops, sinks, and cabinets, even a big mirror on the wall which became loose while removing the other stuff under it. Now taking a break from the jackhammer work that was required to remove sections of the old tile that has not lifted. Hands are shaking as I type this. Long night ahead of me and back is killing me already.

Happy birthday, Grahame.

Watching the rest of Band of Brothers. Watched the first half of the series a couple of months ago.

Nice! The world needs more Benny Hill love.

Congrats, Colin!

What about the 5th person on the list? BTW, I'm sure Jude appreciated that sweaty armpit right smack dab on the neck!

Yes, April in the year 1900 was a crazy time. Happy 110th to everyone.

I blame the system... for not knowing when a post is going through, thus making me click the same button again and saying, "Damit, I mean it this time!"

I think VHS was the 1980s. Throw all of them away except the ones that feature your ex-girlfriends or ex-wives and/or their sisters doing the nasty. Those may have a market value on the internets.

Rebuilt the wall in my motorhome that I tore apart yesterday, after first reinforcing it with studs and such. Now it should be able to take the weight of a wall mount and 50" plasma. Viewing distance will be about 6' from the screen. Hope that's not too close.

Another double post. Urgh!!!

Took a closer look at the scratch and it will mostly buff out. I don't think what will remain will be all that distracting, at least after I get used to it being there. That's life, I guess. ... Ordered a pizza tonight figuring it was my last chance to be bad before I recommit to Atkins beginning tomorrow. It was kind of an interesting conversation: Me: "I'll have a medium special" (looking at the menu, that's a $13.05 pizza). Pizza guy (who is kind of a hippy with lots of tattoos and face jewelry): "You can get a large special for $8.88." Me: "But I'm not that hungry and want to get back on my diet tomorow. If there are leftovers, that will fuck with my head. Either I throw away perfectly good food, or I eat it, knowing that it's bad for me. Lose/lose situation." Pizza guy: "Ehh. I see what you mean... whatever you do you lose." Me (looking a bit confused, I'm sure): "Ya, thus my lose/lose comment. You hungry?" Pizza guy: "Actually, I am, and I'll be lucky to get out of here by midnight. Old lady's gonna be pissed if I'm not there..." Me: "Ok, so I'll take the large, but I only want half of it. Put the other half in a separate box and keep it for yourself. Happy New Year." ... It's not a resolution as such, just a good way to mark time and to check my progress from month to month. Went from 310 to 251 this past year, but then got off the wagon and was back up to 269 the other day.

Some dickwad scratched the fuck out of the side of my pickup truck just now in a grocery store parking lot. It's about 18" long and fairly well grooved. Definitely won't buff out completely. Looks more like the work of a shopping cart than another vehicle. Sucks, but I guess I'll get over it. Bought the truck new in '07. It has just under 30k miles and has been trailer-kept most of the time.

Haven't shaved since Christmas day. Trying to decide whether I'm actually trying to grow a Santa beard for next year (in which case I'll have to go through all the bleaching nonsense and look like a complete dork) or whether I'm just in my usual post-Santa-days funk... ever so slowly realizing once again that life just isn't the same when you have to go back to being an every day Joe.

Cool. Go for it. I've been using the same tire in a softer compound and with good results. Given the weight difference, this particular tire in the medium/hard compound would be a perfect track day tire for your Impreza, or even to put a set on and then go tear them up in a parking lot. Once they get up to temp, they're very sticky.
