Here's a worthy purchase if there ever was one: I'm told it's incredible! Of course, I'm an old fart, and just love to relive those days whenever I get another chance. EDIT1 Oh frick! I thought this was from a 1979 show they did in Argentina. I saw something posted about it on another forum, and then quickly went to Amazon, dropped it in my cart, and clickity click it... think I'll go back and cancel the order. I've seen enough of these guys over the years... for some reason, I thought this was previously unreleased footage from the Bon Scott era, and thus got all excited. Poop sticks! It's actually from a 2009 show, so it's just geezer rock. EDIT2 Damit! Too late to cancel the order. Used to be on Amazon, you could do that if you acted quickly. Now it seems they immediately put up a notice about "this portion of your oder is being prepared for shipment and cannot be cancelled or changed." Eh, guess I'll watch it and be dutifully impressed. Ordered Taxi Driver on Criterion Collection as well, so at least that will be worthy.

Mikhail is looking through his warehouse as we speak. I sent him the funds via Western Union.

Can't remember. It was either a Woo Audio 3 or a Modded Little Dot MKIV SE. Couldn't decide between them, so I decided to get all two of 'em...

Please help me decide between these two amps

Buy the one that weighs the most, or the least. -
^ Same guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgvAwBDbuIo

Wow! That's a lot of cottage cheese for a young lady. Still wouldn't throw her out of bed for chewing crackers.

We should do a group buy and then send all of the scarves to RedOxx to have the headphone guy put on them. Of course, Mike would be pissed because it's not a Bihn embossed sharf...

Boy, you talk about overkill. Notice the last item listed is a 12 page credit book. Love that one. Must have taken dozens of people to put all of this together. Gotta give them credit though, because any company that still has the nerve to do DSOM yet again had better come up with something extra that hasn't been heard/seen before. Would actually be a great place to jump in for any youngsters who've never heard DSOM before. I just can't imagine that there's much more material out there that hasn't been mined at this point.

Such a good guy. Remember talking to him years ago when I bought my microZOTL, which I still have, mostly because I love the amp even though I don't use it often these days... but also because I had such a positive experience as a customer.

I'd pay plenty to get Rihanna in BED.

^ Oh, and TBL on Bluray would really tie the room together, would it not?
-
True enough, but we all have our favorite movies just like we do with music. Thus, we're sometimes willing to pay for format upgrades hoping that we'll get the last 5% or even 1% that was left on the table the last time around. That, and the extras, of course.

For anyone who has watched The Big Lebowski, oh say 20 times or so like I have, you'll get a kick out of this discussion at Amazon about when we can expect to see TBL on Bluray: It's down there somewhere, let me take another look...

We need The Big Lebowski on Bluray. Such a fuckin' travesty, man.

Love that guitar, Shelly! The Cars: Move Like This The Flight of the Reindeer... Bottom of the 33rd...

That you have a life and are committed to your work will appeal to him if he's the 'worth it' type.

The Cars new album "Move Like This" which will be released officially this Tuesday. It's been available for online streaming for several days. You can listen here. This is their first album in 24 years, and of course Ben Orr's vocals are missed badly. Ric sings lead on all songs, and as he's admitted himself, were Ben still alive, he probably would have sung half of them. Blue Tip, Sad Song, Free, Hit Me and parts of other songs have elements of classis Cars sound we knew and loved in the late 70s. Most of the rest of the album is passable but sounds more like a Ric Osasek solo album; not quite the snappy pace I would have preferred, but hey, not too shabby after 24 years!

I seem to have this kind of experience at least once every other week. I'm forever rediscovering what I like and/or don't like about all sorts of headphones. Most recently the PS-1 and SA5000. It would be hard to find two headphones that are any more different from each other than these two, but both can be fantastic in their own ways depending on one's mood and the music being played.

Waiting for Steve's spin on this one! -
May have just blasphemed on Facebook... on Easter Sunday!!! Friend of mine posted: "The Lord is Risen! Alleluia!" to which I replied, "He's an early riser, eh?" since it was before 6am her time when she posted about Him waking up. Then I quickly posted, "Or she..." since my friend is a feminist and would be quick to point out that possibility if I hadn't. But then, she often confuses Obama for the Lord, so maybe my reference to "He" was ok?

Amazing. Crawling out of bed and into the shower is challenge enough for me.

Looks like Matt the Younger.
