Hate to say it, but lucky pass. No way did he intend to throw it between his legs. Was trying to get the pass there ahead of the defender. Still a great play to watch, but he didn't call bank (as they say).

RIP, Chuck. Loved that guy, man.

Zero is being kind. I picked Wisconsin, and in fact having them winning the next game as well, but Duke going to the Final 4. Actually, looking at Dave's brackets above, my East is identical to his.

My picks are pretty similar. I have to pick KU to win every year. I would just be wrong not to. cbs-sports-2017.pdf Reader's Digest version.pdf

I just stumbled across the HD800 pricing on Amazon, quite by accident, and was surprised that they're now a $1,000 pair of headphones: https://smile.amazon.com/Sennheiser-800-Reference-Dynamic-Headphone/dp/B001OTZ8DA/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001OTZ8DA&pd_rd_r=MA8B1CMNN9HTH2J6F13X&pd_rd_w=0JfnY&pd_rd_wg=9fxIy&psc=1&refRID=MA8B1CMNN9HTH2J6F13X Guess I've paid very little attention to the entire HD800 S thing and had no sense that the tweaked model had devalued the original so dramatically. Or I guess, maybe that's just where the HD800 lines up now on a competitive basis with all of the new entries to the flied since 2009.

Happy birthday! Don't be a stranger!

It doesn't seem so. Not so good at holding normal sized headphones either. Sure are purdy though.

Actually, as I read the comments, there is a lot of concern that these stands are not thick enough (at 7.5cm instead of a more desired 10cm, which apparently they are willing to offer in a future drop due to all of the feedback). The concern is that earpads may be damaged from uneven pressure. Most headphones are about 9mm wide, so it seems. Someone posted several pics with a pair of Denon D7000 on the stand, where the outer parts of the earpads are not making contact with the stand. Dang site won't let me grab a pic to post it here. Will wait for the 10cm version. Oh, and the other issue is that being solid wood they are quite heavy and shipped from Canada, so the shipping is 50% of the price of the silly things.

These look to be nicely made and the price isn't too bad at all. Never can have enough headphone stands. Not a big fan of mixing woods, unless you're doing something special when you do so (i.e., something more than merely sandwiching ash between black walnut). So it's either the black walnut or painted elm... decisions... https://www.massdrop.com/buy/woodlab-royal-glam-headphone-stand

Yesterday, I was on my way back from Monaco to Cayman, and sat next to this dude on the London-Miami flight in business class: http://www.johnsambataro.com/www.johnsambataro.com/Home.html Interesting guy. He's 63 and has been touring for 30 years, mostly with Dave Mason's band, but with Firefall for a while as well. Kind of a dead giveaway. He was wearing a new looking jacket that had this really cool embroidery on the back that read Dave Mason World Tour 2007. I had noticed it when we were boarding, so I had to ask him about it when he sat right across the aisle from me. "Oh, we get all kinds of this stuff..." Just a pretty regular guy who has seen the world several times over and is happy to still be doing what he loves and getting paid for it.

Fucking Alan Colmes died at age 66. Holy shit. I had no idea that he was sick. RIP... he was a good man. http://wavy.com/2017/02/24/alan-colmes-liberal-voice-on-fox-dead-at-66/

Don't know the details, but they'll sound good if he likes them.

Oh boy, here we go again...

Any way to get the Maggies away from the wall? They should really open up if you could manage that somehow. I know... rooms... it's never easy, but worth experimenting with if even for just a day.

I don't know about cones of confusion or the like -- to me, they just sound pretty damn good. Better, best, or bestest evar? Ehh, I really don't know. Too soon to make those types of assessments or wax philosophical about them. Just having fun listening for now...

Sounds like he wants to brush it under the rug, to me. That being said, I always liked the way Oakley played in terms of his tenacity. A true 'enforcer' who always had his teammates backs... when that type of physical play was still acceptable in the league. But he's really stepped out of bounds on this one, so they really shouldn't just pretend like it didn't happen. Ban him form MSG for the rest of the season, perhaps, rather than indefinitely. In any case, the rumors circulating seem to point to some serious alcohol problems. To the extent that may be true, I hope he gets the help he needs. That's never easy for anyone...

Amazing tribute, Brent. He would be proud of the man his son has become.

Happy belated birthday, Jeff!

Got up early for a 5:30am "training" call on a new app that is being used to share files for board meetings. Basically, so you don't have to travel with a stack of papers that contain confidential information. Lady calls me from London (it was the only time all day she could fit me in), and I tell her I've downloaded the app, have logged in, changed my password, and created two security questions. She seems relieved. On we go to the training... about how to navigate. Click on the navigate button. Ok, gotcha. Now click on the sample file. Ok. You should see items on the left. Tab 1, Tab 2, and Tab 3. Ok. So you can click on any of those and it will take you to the respective tab. Ok. Do you want to try one? Sure. I've just clicked on Tab 1. Ok, well that should take you to Tab 1. Indeed. Now you can click on the Agenda button and that takes you back to where you started from, so now you see Tab 1, Tab 2, and Tab 3 again. Then when you're within a tab you can go form page to page with the right arrow to advance a page and the left arrow to go back a page. Ok. So you're understanding everything? So far. Ok, another interesting feature is in the lower right hand corner. Do you see where it shows the page numbers? Yes, Im on page 8 of 96. Ok, good. So where it says 8, you can type in a specific number that you might want to go to. Ok, like 49? Yup I just did that, and it took me right there. That's good to know. Ok, well that's pretty much everything. Do you have any questions. No, I think I'll be fine. It seems pretty simple. Oh, it really is. That's what everyone says. (Not picking up on my sarcasm, apparently.) Ok, thanks again. You have a good day... WTF??!!?!? Why must there be "training" on absolutely fucking everything in the corporate world!!?!?! Fucking sun wasn't even up and I was already pissed off.

That, and he's done pretty well for himself and his family, for decades now... doing what, exactly? Oh ya... making headphones.

Outstanding, Brent re: Xavier's bike! Big moment for him for sure. Jeff, my vote is for the bomb pop bike! Seriously, I like it a lot more than the green one. Although that's probably a good reason to get the green one...

We need to send Steve to see if he has a bug up his own ass.
