Santa is the biggest redistributionist of all time.

What makes you think I don't trust liberals, Ken?

Actually, she is. She's black, so there's a 98% chance that she'll be an Obama supported. Of course, it has nothing to do with race.

I started to get some breakage a couple of weeks ago on my Santa beard, which is now in the midst of bleaching season. I had done 4 bleaching sessions, every other Sunday starting in late August, and was determined to get it right this year. But I still had 3 more sessions before I'd reach Santa white, and I was already getting damage. Last year I had started too late (early October) and eventually suffered severe damage, such that I ended up having to patch in small bits of lace backed human hair that was cut to the appropriate length to match what was then left of my real beard. It was an enormous hassle. It took at least 3 hours to get it right to the point that I could walk out the door with a beard that looked like it was all one. Lots of twisting things around, painting in temporary white color, blasting it with hair spray. A real mess. It got to the point that I was taking neck down showers for 3 days at a time, to avoid having to re-jig the beard from scratch every day. So the stakes are high and I honestly didn't know what to do when I started to lose 50 strands per day just a couple of weeks ago. Having nowhere else to turn besides my Nervous Nellie friends over at ClausNet, I decided to roam around from spa to spa here in Grand Cayman until I found someone, anyone, who knows more about bleaching facial hair than I do. As it turned out, that person was nowhere to be found. Quite frankly, I don't care if you've been coloring head hair for 30 years, even if you've done some serious bleaching. Facial hair is different, and much more fragile. Although I got a lot of advice, some of which seemed to be quite good, none of it truly resonated... until I explained the whole dilemma to my girlfriend, who insisted that I do a Keratin deep conditioning treatment. It was then just a matter of buying a tub of this goo and applying it myself. No heat treatments, just a couple of handfuls of this silky smooth goop, leave it in for 10 minutes, and then rinse it out in the shower just as you would do with conditioner. It's a miracle! Not that it worked. No, not that at all, although that might be a secondary miracle. It's a miracle that I actually trusted her enough to go with her advice over that which I had received from professional "hair people" having various levels of experience with this kind of thing. Totally non invasive, no chemicals, easy to self-apply, and inexpensive. The breakage stopped after the first treatment, and now I'm using it twice per week for maintenance. All she said was, "Trust me, I'm a black woman with straight hair, and I've been dealing with this all of my life."

Why Buy Headphones when you can rent them?
Wmcmanus replied to DT Wells's topic in Product Annoucements
I think you would need to pull her hair from back behind on about her 16th birthday if you wanted to beat the crowd. "A few minor ideas we’re swirling around is for headphones that need an amp..." That would be pretty much all headphones. -

I actually thought about you before starting, but knew you would understand. True story. We all feel for you, man.

Too funny! Those guys are nuts! I'm just hoping that I won't be asked to explain myself concerning the Bose comment. The guy who started that thread on FB prides himself in knowing everything, if you know I mean. He likes to argue just for the sake of it. I don't mind a good discussion if there's an information exchange, but he just always has to be right, so where do you start such a discussion with someone who is predisposed to "win" and yet knows nothing about what he's talking about? I'll just pretend I don't see his next response.

I had a wet dream once when I was in high school that had something to do with a Farrah Fawcett poster. I think she felt the connection as well, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, I'm rounding it up. 434.997 + 0.003 = 435

I hadn't thought of that particular case, which actually applies to a lot of people. My intent was for this to be a "feel good" thread, which is why I suggested adding in all years of marriage, whether those marriages turned out well (in the end) or not. I've been in several committed relationships, and was even engaged a couple of times, but never really in something that either one of us regarded as an all-out marriage. Ring and vows, or no ring and vows, there are many people who can quite honestly claim their years of commitment as marriage. So everyone should feel free to interpret the word "marriage" in any way they wish to.

Best post ever! Don't think I'm your type though.

I've always admired happily married couples, and enjoy reading their stories. Although I've never been married myself, I'd be interested in knowing how long many of you have been married. For better or for worse, I'd like to see how far we can get with a running total of years of marriage (past or present marriages). I'll start. 0 The next person can say 0 + 11 = 11. Then 11 + 3 = 14, and so on. Any stories you wish to share about how well (or not so well) your marriage decisions have worked out are welcome as well. Just thought it would be fun to celebrate the joys of matrimony en masse.

British announcers just don't get too excited about anything, do they?
