  1. Good man. May he rest in peace. Florida baseball is a joke. I think they're all just spoiled by Spring Training. Nobody goes to Rays or Marlins games. It's really pathetic. The Rays sell out on opening day every year with pretend fans who go for the atmosphere. Then they have about 5,000 people in the seats the next day, with official attendance usually 13,000 or so with all of the empty corporate seats that they give to sponsors. After that, the only time there is a decent crowd is when the Yankees or Red Sox are in town and bring their own fans along with the old geezers who have transplanted themselves into the area.
  2. Sad news, Dusty. RIP, Jessica. Just so young...
  3. In true Headcase style, one of my current dilemmas... https://www.amazon.com/Shelti-Eye-Electronic-Dart-Board/dp/B00NMRLYA8?tag=gameroom-reviews-20 https://www.amazon.com/Spider-360-Galaxy-Home-Dartboard/dp/B01N0H3U67?tag=gameroom-reviews-20 Adding onto my house again this year, which will include a game room that will be somewhere in the region of 32' x 18' and will include regulation length tables for shuffleboard (22'), pool (9'), air hockey (8') and fussball. Darts as well, and thinking electronic is the way to go for the fun factor. Will probably include a regular dart board as well (one of the 2 Brent was looking at in his first post) for my own use but not for kids and drunk people. Oh, and a urinal. No space for a bathroom in that room, but there will be one in the room immediately beneath it. So... might as well.
  4. Ya, that was one of the classics. They sure were fun. It's like they didn't give a shit. Half of them are dead now, at least. "...and all I've got is my right hand." Not exactly The Beatles, but hey...
  5. Ray Sawyer of Dr. Hook fame... this one kind of hurts, always loved his style. https://pagesix.com/2018/12/31/dr-hook-singer-ray-sawyer-dead-at-81/?fbclid=IwAR3J_rpjcxopS6Ltg9DOhZHjWxvSd53X-siDLzwfkWYnvOVbyjCz7-v2Kh4
  6. Happy birthday, Ric!
  7. Oh, Dear God, that is just horrific news, Antonio. Sending prayers for you, your sister, the kids, and everyone. My heart goes out to you.
  8. Lost a dear friend, a truly gentle, beautiful man who was ever so kind hearted and generous with his time, and an incredibly talented and graceful musician... yesterday... to mental health issues that eventually could no longer be contained. We kind of knew it was coming, but it's a tough train to stop. He reached out, he was embraced, he knew that he had support, and yet we all knew, somehow, that this day would come. He had a million and one friends. We will surely miss you, Jon. You were everywhere all the time, forever performing and greeting everyone with your amazing Caymanian smile. Our tiny Island weeps for your tender and tortured soul. You always said that your music was your solace, peace, and grace, and that everything else was pure torture and never made sense. Hope you packed well for your next journey. Tonight is the opening event for the Christmas season here, a tree lighting ceremony that I perform at in front of 5,000 people. Jon was always backstage, every single year, to joke around and keep us all calm before we went on. But mostly to just be there for me as a friend, and to be a part of it. Told me once that it was the only Saturday night that he didn't book for the entire year because a backstage pass with Santa and his elves was just too much fun to miss... and now this. Anyway (sigh), that's him on the right.
  9. Roy Clark. He was 85 so he lived a full life, but still sucks. Amazing talent. https://www.npr.org/2018/11/15/668294131/roy-clark-hee-haw-host-and-country-music-ambassador-dies-at-85

  15. I've always been a Macbook Pro user, and tend to get a new one every 3 years or so. Just did this about a month ago. Great machine, with one nagging issue. The audio will just randomly cut out altogether while I'm watching a video source, be it a YouTube video, or live sports (baseball of late), and any kind of a video from Facebook, etc. So I Googled to see if it was a common problem, and if there was an easy solution. Appears to be yes, it's a common problem, and no, it doesn't seem to have been properly diagnosed and solved yet. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8466406 Should have mentioned that it's annoying as fuck.
  16. Thought you would like that! Go Brewers!!! ...and now for something you won't like, but Shelly will, Go Astros!!!
