Incredible game and an amazing tournament in general. Always just a little easier when your team (Kansas in my case) gets beat by the eventual champion. But my goodness, did Nova ever completely dismantle and embarrass an outstanding Oklahoma team. They just got hot and played their best basketball all season long at the right time. Outstanding team defense with 10 hands and feet moving constantly. They did an incredible job at stopping the best player on each team they played down the stretch. Completely denied Perry Ellis the ball in the post against Kansas and held him to 4 points, then somehow shut down Hield and held him to 9 points, shadowing him everywhere he went... and then tonight did a great job on Brice Johnson, don't know how much he scored but he definitely wasn't as dominant as usual. I thought is was the smartest possible way to coach college basketball team. Just keep it simple. Don't let their best player beat us.

RIP, Garry. Sad day. That was a shocker...

Ken also portrayed Santa Claus in a 2008 Coca-Cola commercial. I know this only because I have about 1,000 Santa "friends" (most of whom I'll never meet) on Facebook.

Joe Garagiola, beloved baseball announcer, dies at 90: http://wgntv.com/2016/03/23/joe-garagiola-beloved-baseball-announcer-dies-at-90/ Well written title to this article; he really was a beloved announcer. He was such an easy going guy with a great announcing voice and so many interesting stories, but he never made anything about him. It was always about the game. RIP, Joe.

Absolutely! Well said, Dan. Tyll, I know that wasn't your intention in either forwarding that heartbreaking email to Kevin in an effort to help, or in writing that beautiful tribute and posting it for everyone who loves the headphone hobby to see, or indeed in filling us in regarding this sad back story... it's not about you, and I get that. Yet, Dan's comment is the only conclusion that we can possibly draw from that chain of events and from so many similar actions on your part that have illustrated time and time again that you are indeed a good man and a blessing to all of us. Thanks for all that you do for the hobby. Didn't want to wait around until you bite the dust to say so.

True, but this thread casts a pretty wide net. I mean, considering the world's population and all of the people who have done great things with their lives, plus the fact that none of us gets much time in the grand scheme of things. So it's a celebration and a way to say thanks as well. Still depressing as hell at times though. I'll give you that.

Given that you're now a 'junior' senior, it's not surprising your mom had a senior moment! Glad she did remember though! Sounds like you had a good day. Oh, and happy birthday... before I forget!

Happy birthday, Colin. 30 may seem old to you, but you're still incredibly young.

No kidding! That was something special. Some of Gordon's dunks were mind boggling. If there was such a thing as "extra credit" beyond a score of 50, he would have won the contest, hands down. Taking nothing away from Zach, who was also getting legit 50s. But even on Gordon's last dunk, he deserved a 50 rather than 47. I think some of the judges gave him 9 instead of 10 because he switched to a "safer" dunk, even though he was the only guy on the planet ever to do that dunk! That, and Levine was reigning champ and playing to his home crowd... how else to pick one over the other?
