  1. Hmm, more reasons are needed for me NOT to blow my budget on a Mac.
  2. Thanks for all the great replies. I'll be studying accountancy, don't think there's any funky software that requires Windows to work. Though I'm a little worried that there might be some compatibility issues for group projects/presentations if the other members are using Windows. Would there be such an issue?
  3. I'm deciding on a laptop for my university use. Is there any other reason to get a Macbook (Pro) over a similarly spec-ed Windows PC besides the OS? Looks aside that is.
  4. I agree with morphsci. Wonder how leather would affect the sound though.

That's some cool shit right there. Voted!
  9. Well, I only tried it in a local audio store so take my impressions with a pinch of salt. My friend likened it to a more powerful and refined (souped-up, if you will) Graham Slee Solo SRG. On the warmer side of neutral, good PRaT, layering and bass control. Basically, if you like the sound of the Auditor, at half the price of the Phonitor I don't see the need for any consideration unless you really like to tweak your sound which in that case the Phonitor would be the better choice. Setup was CEC TL53Z + SPL Phonitor/Auditor + Edition 8/K701/Vintage RS1
  10. The Auditor is pretty impressive, slightly warmer and with a smaller soundstage than the Phonitor. I prefer the Auditor over the Phonitor, I feel the latter is a tad too clinical and dry.

    ^ penger, good one.
  12. I believe I finally got some of that magic with flats. These definitely do not work with bowls. Enjoy your pair too.
  13. Incredible deal. Those could have gone for double the price and still be sold. Nice. I would know, because I bought these...
  14. I take it back. It's much faster than version 3.
  15. Just installed it. Seems to be marginally faster and with that new tab button, but other than that I can't really tell what's the difference.
  16. ^ I really really like the first one.

Winning a team with a trash talker is even more so.
  18. Quite a few of my friends have ordered the HF-2, but sadly none of them have gotten it yet. Another friend was so kind as to lend our group his PS-1 as well, I might be able to make some brief comparisons if I get my hands on both at the same time.
  19. Heroes.

Ah. And now all my friend's have gone and bought the V3.
  21. Wow, slick.
  22. I quite disliked that one, did you?
