Weeds - Season 3, Episode 7

I thought Heroes was entertaining through 1/2 to 2/3 of the 1st season, but IMO it really lost steam and by the end I found watching it to be a bit of a chore. It felt more like an obligation than something I was really looking forward to. It just seemed like their ambition was beyond their ability to execute. I'll give season 2 a shot, but I'm fully prepared to walk away, despite the cheerleader...

Maybe some of use aren't quite as desensitized to violence as you are I mean, action movie violence is one thing, but the stuff here can be pretty rough and realistic. They hang a guy for stealing a horse in the first, what, 5 minutes? And some of the hand-to-hand stuff is brutal as well. I found it a bit shocking through the first few episodes as well.

So sad it's over. Definitely looking forward to seeing what they come up to wrap things up in the long-rumored movie(s). And it was really weird to see Calamity Jane in the pilot for the new show Life as a cop and not as a fall-down drunk. It took me a while to recognize her.

That thing is f'ing huge for a single-disc player. Nice! Definitely looking forward to hearing it. And don't worry, using it as a source for your mini3 and KCS-35/75 hybrids is in no way overkill!

Wow. Both shows were just great. Bionic Woman has a ton of potential. And the pilot for Chuck has to be one of the most enjoyable I've ever seen. I can't wait for the rest of the season.

Bionic Woman premier in HD OnDemand. I'll probably be watching Chuck next. This whole watch the premier before it airs is pretty cool.

I didn't care for the 650 with the Cardas. I think it really benefitted from being paired with a Zu or Equinox, but the Cardas experiment was short lived. Take all the sterotypical negatives about the 650 and that's kind of what I found with the Cardas. I actually preferred the stock cable edit: Nate beat me too it, but yeah, what he said

Well, they proved to be complete fuck-tards. They called today expecting over $800 because the salesmean never told the sales manager the right number for my payoff, and they weren't prepared to make it right. :shrug: I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Not an option for me as my copies of the standard Metallica discs are beat to hell and probably don't even play through at this point.
