I too really like Weeds, but it's become clear my opinion doesn't matter because I find Seinfeld damn near unwatchable

I hate that show so very much. I honestly can't think of a show I enjoy less.

1st of all... It appears I'm in love with Kristin Chenoweth. I'm not usually a fan of short hair, but damn! Now that that's out of the way... While I can understand why this show might be too much for some people, I really really like it. I thought last night's episode was a great 2nd episode. There was a little more recap than I would've liked, but that almost always happens in the 1st episode following a pilot. But after that, I thought it did a great job continuing to define the characters and move things along. It's definitely a new take on the TV staple of "Will they or won't they," because they really can't or she'll die. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this all goes.

Just picked up a large 4-shot mocha with a half-shot of coconut. Noteworthy because they changed the cup sizes, and no more jumbo. Well, the jumbo size is now called a large. Made ordering harder than it should be. There was a reason I was buying caffeine... The only problem with the Hiro story is every time he's interacting with the two characters in the past, all I can see is Sark from Alias and Whitney from Bring It On.

Last night's felt more like the UK version than it has in a long time. I thought it was a very cringe-worthy episode, and I loved it. Between the Ryan/Jan interaction (which had a great shout-out to the UK version), Michael taking it to the next level, Phyllis' reminder to Pam about how to route calls from new clients and Ryan's conversation with Pam in front of Jim, it was awkward and uncomfortable and made me laugh out loud more than a few times.

Anyone watch the premier tonight? Coming as a big fan of Brian Fuller's other series, Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls, I had pretty high expectations. And I definitely was not disappointed. I'm really looking forward to the season, provided ABC doesn't pull a FOX and cancel it after a couple of episodes. I'm still recovering from the cancellation of Wonderfalls.

Having said that, I do like other women who sing jazz/pop/vocal standards. For whatever reason, and despite her having a great voice and being very alluring with an interesting backstory, her three albums have done little to nothing for me.

I just did a quick survey of my Top 50 artists on Last.fm... 32 artists consist of entirely female vocals 8 artists have male and female vocals 10 artists consist of entirely male vocals So everything poinsts to me liking her, including the fact that I like other female vocalists in that style. So I'll be honest, I was pretty disappointed when I realized she's just not for me.

Well, the deal has been reached, announced by both parties and tested in the field. It's only a matter of time. The problem is that TiVo's market has been shrinking steadily over the last few years, and this partnership was supposed to help both parties. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

I know, I was talking about the porting of the TiVo interface onto Comcast's boxes. TiVo hit some hard times when the HD DVRs started rolling out, leading to their deal with Comcast. And it would be nice to have a DVR that I don't own and wouldn't have to replace in the event of a hardware failure that has the Tivo software. And from what I've heard, Comcast's support of CableCards to get premium content with the TiVo HD has been spotty at best. So again, an all-in-one solution that is less than TiVo's monthly fee with no upfront purchase and no liability with respect to hardware would be the best of both worlds.

Comcast and TiVo reached a deal years ago to roll TiVo software onto Comcast DVR boxes, but it's waaaaaaaaaaay behind schedule and has only been released in limited testing runs in major markets. That would be a nice upgrade some day... The Motorola and SA software Comcast uses now is clunky at best, and when compared directly to TiVo's software, it fares even worse.

I'd agree with that. I'm kind of going week-by-week with Heroes, and as long as it's continuing in the right direction I'll keep coming back.

Very, very happy to see Olivia Wilde as one of the potential ducklings.

The last time she was turning up a bunch in the "What Are You Listening To Now" thread I tried both Call Off The Search and Piece By Piece and felt very meh about her. It was pleasant enough but she didn't leave much of an impression and I'm pretty sure I never revisited either album after one listen. :shrug:

I find it completely unwatchable. Even Emily Proctor can't make up for David Caruso's "acting".
