  2. Not so much a purchase as a gift... Mom made a coat for the skinny one with winter weather fast approaching. Having a dog that has to wear "clothes" outside was my only hang-up before getting a greyhound. But she's definitely not made to operate outside without one when it's much below 40 degrees, so it's not really optional. And it doesn't look bad at all... Pretty damn good, actually, especially knowing it's made from an old fleece blanket. And most importantly, she's much happier going out early AM/late PM with it on, so well done Mom!
  3. Yeah, Julie Benz + school girl outfit FTW!
  4. x2 :jealous:
  5. Won't fix the fact that they're incredibly overrated and a terrible value at current prices Though they are worlds ahead of the W5k, not that there's any great achievement in that.
  6. Just finishing Sister Pelagia and the White Bulldog, so it was time to pick up: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Sister-Pelagia-Black-Monk-Mortalis/dp/0812975146/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1224785098&sr=8-3]Amazon.com: Sister Pelagia and the Black Monk: A Novel (Mortalis): Boris Akunin, Andrew Bromfield: Books[/ame] And I enjoyed the first three Fandorin novels, so I got these as well: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Death-Achilles-Novel-Fandorin-Mystery/dp/0812968808/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1224785098&sr=8-4]Amazon.com: The Death of Achilles: A Novel (Erast Fandorin Mystery): Boris Akunin, Andrew Bromfield: Books[/ame] [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Special-Assignments-Adventures-Fandorin-Mysteries/dp/0812978609/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1224785098&sr=8-1]Amazon.com: Special Assignments: The Further Adventures of Erast Fandorin (Erast Fandorin Mysteries): Boris Akunin: Books[/ame]
  7. Finished priming the vanity, beadboard wainscoting and chair rail in the bathroom, and got a coat of primer on the drywall to help highlight areas that need attention. Still need a couple of patches in the drywall, but it's finally starting to look like things are coming together.
  8. Awesome!
  9. I'm at a loss... Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! Beautiful. Great job Steve!
  10. I Holly as well. Amy Ryan has really done a great job. I still feel like it was a bit of character assasination with Jan...
  11. Ralph Nader once said of the Corvair... "Unsafe at any speed." I'll paraphrase: Beyerdynamics... "A bad deal at any price."

  13. Skor bar. Yum.
  14. Happy Birthday
  15. Anything would be a better name
  16. I don't care about any of it except the horribly misleading name... I mean really, 30 seconds of research would've revealed that there was already an amp called an M^3, that is commonly referred to as an M3, that is technically superior and that was even designed by the same person. So was it a dumb an honest mistake or a shameless intentionally misleading choice something more suspect? The rest of it doesn't matter... The name alone makes it epic fail.
  17. Yeah, haven't watched Dr. Who since Tom Baker was on it
  18. Secret Diary of a Call Gril S02E03. Awesome.
  19. Considering the 3 is for an active ground, wouldn't it be more 2 x (M^2)?
  20. I've had some down time this weekend... And once I got started, I couldn't stop myself! And I have to say, this has been one of the more entertaining shows I've seen in ages. Rude, vulgur, inappropriate and I'm loving every minute of it! Now it's time for some football... NE vs. SD, though I don't know for how long.
  21. Californication S02 E01, 2 & 3
  22. Hahahahaha... The pup is quite disruptive. As for me, a tow for my VW GTI 3000 lb lawn ornament. $75 loading fee + $3.75/mile. The tow, and the repairs for the damage from it taking on 3"+ of water (4 gallons!!!), look to be covered by my comprehensive. Though I am on the hook for costs associated with finding and repairing the problem that caused the leak and subsequent damage.
  23. The only thing I can add to the legality issue is this... I was looking into if headphones are legal while driving (I had a soft-top Wrangler Rubicon, and the cabin noise was tough to handle... as Nate said, it could be very fatiguing on longer trips). All I found mentioning headphones anywhere was the State of NH bicycle laws, which basically said you must follow all motor vehicle laws, and they also recommended you not use headphones while riding. My logical leap was that it must not be against the law in automobiles (and by extension motorcycles) if they specifically recommend (but not prohibit) their use while on bicycles.
