  1. Amen. What a whiney bitch. He demanded a trade when his offensive coordinater gets canned, but complains when the team considers trading him? And his feelings got hurt, so he decides to pass up an opportunity with a coach who worked with Brady and developed Cassel into someone people were willing to pay $14M. That's a pretty good track record. If anyone's going to regret the decision, it's going to be Cutler, going to the team where quarterbacks go to die.
  2.
  3. Happy Belated Doug!
  4. I'll have to look into larger tiles. Fewer joints would definitely clean up the install and look great. The floor's getting this. Again, trying to balance the look & my budget. I really like the combination of the black and lighter grain. The flooring is easy enough replace if it doesn't wear well.
  5. Thanks everyone. I'm loving how things are coming along. The sink is great, as is the faucet with the industrial-looking sprayer. And I love the doors and handles. It's hard to believe I've doubled the footprint of the kitchen! Due to budget constraints, the counter is going to be 12"x12" black granite tile instead of solid. But I'm going groutless @ the joints, so it should look pretty good. And the black looks amazing next to the glass mosaic tile for the backsplash.
  6. The Ikea stuff would be tough to do w/out handles... The European hinges and small gaps would leave little to grab. Anyway, progress photos: I still have some adjusting to do to clean up the gaps and get the doors all even. But at this point, counter tops, backsplash, range hood, flooring and some miscellaneous trim (and a new fridge) and things will be in damn good shape.
  7. Yesterday I got all of my cabinet doors hung and drawer fronts on, including mounting all of the handles. My father got the pantry and coat closet doors hung, as well as drywalling the inside of the closets. And my mother got another coat of paint on the underside of the loft. All in all, a good day. I think the end of the kitchen renovation is in sight!
  8. So, I've been using MontyPics for years now... Crummy interface for uploading and organizing, but I'd been uploading and using those photos in forums for so long that changing hosting wasn't an option. Well, unknown to me until this morning, they had a complete meltdown over the weekend, had little redundancy and they lost about 99% of my photos going back about 6 years. So, if I have to start from scratch, re-uploading the critical stuff from before, plus continuing to upload going forward, I want things to be a little better this time around on pretty much all fronts. What I'm looking for: An improved interface for uploading and sharing Batch uploading/resizing (?) A good track record regarding stability Flexibility in sharing (albums as well as individual photos) Obviously hotlinking for use in the forums Reasonably priced I know Nate uses pbase and has had a decent experience with them, but I'd be curious to hear what else you guys are using, recommendations, etc. I know there are some decent free options, but I'm fine with paying for a superior service... You do often get what you pay for. Thanks!
  9. Better late than never!
  10. So did your "Team Source First" rig with the Northstar feeding a Starving Student & my HF-1s. Ridiculous x 1,000,000 and it sounded significantly better than it should have!
  11. Thanks everone... Still awaiting the results from this mornings bloodwork, but I did get a call @ 6:30 this morning letting me know she was doing well with the IV and seemed to be doing OK.
  12. Aparantly 2 nights boarding, activated charcoal, IVs, bloodwork and testing for my dog. She found a pair of two week old cinnamon raisin bagels in a bag that I had forgotten about completely. I opened the bag a few days ago to get something out and aparantly didn't close it back up. She found it when I was out this evening. I knew raisins were bad, but a quick search let me know just how bad they are. So off she went to the emergency vet. :fingers crossed: They were able to induce vomiting, but initial bloodwork wasn't great, though it also wasn't horrible. I should know more tomorrow. Fuck.
  13. Walk Hard reference. Hilarious movie, or at least a great movie with hilarious send-ups of music bio-pics and more references to major moments in music over the last 50 years.
  14. FIFY
  15. Definitely a good meet. Good to see everyone. Impressions? Well, one that matters... The only thing better than how the BHSE looks is how it sounds. This thing is the real deal. Justin has outdone himself. Other impressions will follow tomorrow. Just walked in after a 5 hour return trip.
  16. Really.
  17. Happy Birthday!
  18. Happy Birthday Al!
  19. So after giving this a listen, I finally got around to checking out some of their back catalog. I don't know if it's just because this is what I heard first, or if this is a big change for them, but I really The Hazards of Love, and unfortunately everything else strikes me as very :meh:.
  20. Or the non-NY contingent dumb enough to head down for the day!
  21. What a fucking 'tard.
  22. 2-Day lift ticket to Jay Peak. 3 tanks of gas. Advil. Lots of Advil.
  23. Wow, ordered the refurb silver Shuffle for $39 on Wednesday, used the free shipping option and it arrived today! I'll get it loaded up and it'll be ready for my ski trip this weekend. Kick ass!
