Thanks for posting this... I had a chance to listen to it today and I really liked it!

I thought I ordered conservatively, and I didn't end up with any whole extra sheets. Considering the price, it probably wouldn't hurt to be safe.

eBay user ID is eg124 He's still offering free shipping... 11 sf per case, $90-105/case. Tough deals to beat. I wouldn't hesitate to get more from him if I needed some.

Haj, If you want, I can track down the eBay place I got my glass mosaic backsplash tile from... Under $10/sf and free shipping, and I was very happy with it.

Diablo Swing Orchestra - Sing Along Songs for the Damned & Delerious Only on track 1, and EPIC FUCKING WIN!!!

I'm more than a little obsessed with the little two track progression of "For Al Men Kill..." and "Covenant". Holy hell I love those songs. There are some killer tracks here, and while it took a little longer to get into, I'm loving this album!

She's touring...

Her debut is a bit more accessible... It's taken me a LOT of listens to really get into the new one. It's definitely a bit more challenging, but there are some real gems here. Sometimes the ones that are slow to connect are all the more rewarding when they really sink in. Glad to hear you're enjoying it! And thanks for the reminder to update with initial impressions! Oh, and for the record, the .mp3s appear to be VBR, which is nice.

Ohhhhhhh, didn't realize that was out. Definitely looking forward to checking that out!

I know there are a number of people around here who really like Our Hearts First Meet and would like to know that her follow up is available... Amazon.com: For Blood And Wine: Rykarda Parasol: MP3 Downloads Just an amazon download for now (256 kbps), but I'm pretty sure the CD is in the works at a later date. Her official site is here. I can't say how much I love Our Hearts First Meet. The songs are stunning, with a western noir sound, and her voice is breathtaking. "Texas Midnight Radio" is the highlight for me on an album full of highlights. Downloading from amazon now... Will probably listen tonight. If not tonight, definitely tomorrow. I'm sooooooooooo looking forward to this. :ian:

Went up to the folks' and did some repair on my hardtop... TJ Unlimited hardtops go for $1,100 - $1,300 used in this neck of the woods. Finding someone who flopped their Jeep after hitting black ice on the interstate, had the top replaced by insurance and who ultimately wanted the old, cracked one out of their yard cheap was nice. $250, some fiberglass repair materials and black paint and I'm set for fall and winter! It could still use a little fine tuning, but it looks damn good for now. A day's work saved $1k. Tough to beat.

Happy Birthday! And yay to Posty's B-Day doggy pic!

Just dropped $500+ on Zoe... She had a urinary tract obstruction, which you can imagine left her far from impressed. But she seems back to her usually prickly self.

I only hate The Beatles. And Seinfeld. And Drew Barrymore. And... Nevermind. You're right. Hateful!

I thought Tatyana Tolstoya's The Slynx bordered on unreadable. It was the most work I've ever put into a novel. I'd like to blame it on the translation, but I'm not sure I can...

Why do I have a feeling I'm going to skip reading this thread for a while...

Ohhhh, make anything fun? As for me? Great weekend... Let the pup off her leash at the beach for the first time. She did great. Spent Saturday @ Damariscotta Lake, waterskiing for the first time in 10 years and wakeboarding for the first time. Fun day with the girlfriend & friends. Neko got to hang out with some high-energy labs and did well again. Got back laaaaate! Sunday was an exercise in organization... Moving stuff around, cleaning, throwing stuff away, all to make room for more of the girl's things. This also included moving my headphone rig, which should result in more use. And best of all, the place is coming together. Today was a lazy morning, followed by lunch with a friend of mine who I see too little of, and a movie. Now just relaxing on the couch. And best of all? Not dreading going to work tomorrow. Gotta love the new job!

Thanks for reminding me... I still need to turn cups for my HF-1 so I can sell them! I'd sell 'em as is if the current wood cups didn't have sentimental value.

Hope your birthday blows your damn fool head off!!! Enjoy!

Found out that Neko Case is playing less than a mile from my place later this fall... Definitely getting tickets when the go on sale. Wish I was a member @ the venue, as they get to buy tickets ahead of the general public.

This is my GF's cat... He's staying with her sister when she moves in, as I have 2 cats already and she thinks a 3rd would be too many. As much as I hate to admit it, she's not wrong. Jasper: He's adorable... I'm still trying to figure out why the hell she's willing to trade him for me

On a budget, the HF-2 sounds damn good out of my Millett Hybrid... Though it also scales up very well, too. It sounded amazing out of Mark's uber-Ear, a Beta, etc.
