  1. I just learned today that Hinton Battle passed in January. Among many roles of note, he was the original Scarecrow in The Wiz, and more recently the slick, dancing demon (and choreographer) in the Once More With Feeling episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The marquee lights of Broadway will dim on March 12th in his honor.

  7. Echo (Disney+) - Finally something decent out of the MCU since the whole Avengers story arc. Actor Alaqua Cox, who plays the titular character (aka Maya Lopez), is actually deaf, actual indigenous, and actually an aputee - all of which are incpororated into the storyline.

  13. The Brothers Sun (Netflix) - surprisingly a fun watch. A bit of gory violence, juxtaposed with the tongue-in-cheek humor, mixed with some heartfelt family dynamics (it's complicated). Michelle Yeoh looks great, and there's a few decent cinematography moments in there:
  14. Condolences @MexicanDragon. RIP Uncle Jack.

  16. First four episodes of the limited series Murder At The End Of The World (Hulu/FX). Very good, so far.

  18. Watched the first four dropped eps of Reacher (Prime). More of an ensemble approach in this second season that works well, mostly attributable to the inclusion of several cast members from the gone-far-too-soon series Breakout Kings.
  19. ^both sad & hilarious at the same time.
  20. Happy birthday Ric!
  21. Finally got around to watching the second half of the first, and only, season of HBO's "The Nevers". I'm not super-crazy about the very, very end, but there's lots to enjoy up to that point. Some great performances in there.
