ESL63's with subs FTMFW!!! They rock pretty well from my recollection of such a system I heard several years ago. Couldn't give you specifics on the associated amplification though.

Nice pics shelly. Like the b&w. Also like the 28mm perspective in that shot.

Happy birthday Jack!

Just saw your post here Wayne. My condolences. Your aunt is now free from her pain.

Adorama has the GR camera along with the Ricoh bounce flash unit, and the matching Ricoh optical viewfinder for only $100 more - worth it?
-
Any thoughts?

^Pretty cool. How are you liking the handling of the Q? Which model do you have?

My condolences Larry.

Anyone used Amazon's Trade-In program to send in your stuff for Amazon credit? http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=ti_surl_tradein?ie=UTF8&node=2242532011 They seem to be offering a crazy amount for my old DSLR body, which is long-in-the-tooth for an upgrade. The only small potential downside I can see is the fine print that states "a small number of the items in our catalog may display an inaccurate TIV", in which case they will contact you to determine how you wish to proceed (including an option to send the item back to you at no cost). And of course you get the trade-in in the form of an Amazon gift card. Curious if anyone has any experience with this process & can speak to how legit it is.

I wish that Canon 40mm pancake was a 22mm pancake instead. Such a lens with the SL1 would be a nice walkabout kit.

Wonder what that means for servicing older units?

Looks like new 44mm and 50mm drivers, depending on the model.

Sunday in New York - (on TMC Channel) - Jane Fonda, circa 1963. Assisted by Rod Taylor, Cliff Robertson, Robert Culp, Jim Backus, & an oft-scene stealing Jo Morrow. Not to mention a cameo by Peter Nero himself. Funny look at the hypocritical sexual morality of that time, all set in NYC. What's not to love?

Happy Birthday Rob!
