  1. Caught up with all three seasons this past week/weekend. Wonderfully scripted & deftly delivered. Fantastic performances all around. I love Lily Tomlin even more than I did before, if that's possible.
  2. Happy birthday!

The Sony MDR-R10/CD3000, Qualia 010/SAx0000, & Z1R models are from completely distinct eras of Sony. They each represent such different (& pretty much opposite) approaches to a certain ideal that they might as well have come from different companies. Purk, if you'd like to hear an interesting headphone that is very reminiscent of the venerable R10, check out the Final Audio Design Sonorous VIII & X models. I heard them at CanJam NYC this year, & was left with more of an impression than from the Z1R.

  6. Finished watching the season finale (ep8) - did not disappoint. Peter, please tell me you are watching this. So many "WTF?" moments!

  8. ^This. Watching that show in the mid-70's highlighted my appreciation for a quirky, dry sense of humor. No one else in my family 'got it'. RIP Chuck Barris.
  9. Newegg had them new for $899 briefly a few months ago. Any price south of $1k for a new pair has to be the best value in headphonedom, imo. Used deals like tkam's recent offer is even better. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. Stranger Things (Netflix) - finally saw this & absolutely loved it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. While there are options to select electric generation suppliers in a deregulated market, the actual distribution network is usually owned by one company. That's who sends you the entire combined bill each month, which has a minimum "connect" fee ($10/mo is not bad). Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. Happy birthday Nate! Glad you had a good day.

  14. Legion (FX network) - two eps in & it's fantastic. Hope they can keep it up.

  16. Went to the Verizon store to check out the new models available for my impending upgrade eligibility in a few weeks. I was never so bored looking at smartphones in my life. So uninspiring. The most interesting model was a svelte looking flip phone that made me actually consider going backward technology-wise.
  17. Happy birthday!
  18. Daredevil (Netflix original series) - Seasons 1 and 2 are both outstanding. Highly recommended if you haven't seen already & are into that sort of thing. Moving on to Jessica Jones and then Luke Cage after that.
  19. Travelers (Netflix original) - A well done sci-fi, time travel genre series. An easy binge.
