Well, the system always regulates to a level equal to 90dB at the ear with the exception of the 100dB THD test where it's 100dB. So I don't know the exact voltage. I don't expect those levels should be a problem though. What do you think?

I must say, I'm a little disturbed at the price increase. I get it though: it is reasonable that the best headphone in a category would cost the most. OTOH, if the best headphoe in the category is reasonably priced, that settles the price for performance at that price. In other words, with the LCD3 at $2k, we'll see lots more (dumbass) manufacturers pricing their cans there to intimate that their can is worthy. It just seems high to me. I'd like to see them priced at $1499. Oh well, they're still very, very good.

They were very hard to seal, too. You can sort of ignore the bottom end drop-off if you have a good seal.
