Better than Porta Pro. As good as the Creative Aurvana Live! , I think. Just got them yesterday. A really good $100 recco. These are what the Solos should have sounded like.

Yeah, me neither, never heard of them. Then some distributor in New Jersey contacts me and says I should hear them. "They're like the Beats Solo HD but better!" Yeah right. Using those headphones as a reference sure gets me excited ... not. Then they show up. Look a LOT like Solos. Sound and measure like pure gold though, baby! Woot! This is a seriously good headphone. They're available here at Amazon for $99.

Yeah, I like them, too. A tad bright for me, but a good alterntive to the LCD-2 if you like things a bit quicker sounding. The Shure 1840!? Really? I didn't like them at all: too little bass, way to piercing up top.

Depends on how you judge it. For a dirt motorcyclist/camper, it goes from July 15th when they officially open the forest service roads, until first snow fall which is between Sept 15 and Oct 15 usually. Two to three months. But we've had at least a month more spring this year. If you're asking, "How long is winter and the shitty muddy part of spring before things turn green?" That's usually mid-Oct til mid-may. So, five months of non-winter/shit. OTOH, it keeps the posers away. You either love nature like life itself, or you don't live here.

Yeah, they're a bit "fast" sounding, but not harsh. Not quite my cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed them off my iPod walking to town one day. I'm gonna give them some ear time on my trip to NY.

I heard them at CES and they sounded harsh. Problem is, that's my go-to impression, so I'm really not sure. Didn't like them though. Got my JH13s a month or so ago ... I have no idea why anyone would opt for the 3003 when nirvana is just a smidge more.
