My daughter lives right across the street from where that crane fell apart. She walked 30 blocks downtown to a friend's before it happened and took nothing with her. They're now saying she won't be able to enter the building possibly for weeks. Silly girl, I told her last year she needed a bugout bag. She'll be okay, she has friends.

Anxilus has a new mod for it, too. Purrins measurements show it as pretty damned effective. I can't wait to try it.

I think so. The price is right; lots of features. Socketed 8-pin DIPs to roll op-amps. Seems like very good value to me.

Woops, my bad. They're the Muses 01 not the 8820. But I'm still interested if anyone has tried either. And correct linky for the Muses 01.

Just been auditioning the Asus Xonar Essence One, and they sent me some of these Muses 8820 op-amps to replace the stock 5532s. My, this amp/DAC sounds pretty damn good for $599, and with the Muses ($899 is the price with these installed) it sounds very nice. Articulate, punchy, smooove! I likey. Anyone used these parts? Mmmmmm...no. Not really. Maybe sounds that way because they're quicker sounding, but it's still nor real imaging, IMHO.
