I was a Boy Scout a long time ago. It seemed pertinent at the time. Now the organization feels to me like a throwback...works for a "Leave it to Beaver" world, but somehow irrelevant in the "Southpark" culture of today. They need to totally reinvent the Scouts, or be sucked into religious organizations. I don't think there's a Scout troop in Bozeman that isn't basically affiliated with one church or another. Glad they voted as they did, but they'll need to do a hell of a lot more to become relevant.

They gave me one at Munich. It sounds good, but there's things I hate about it. The price for one...though mine was free. And they told me at the show I could pair it via bluetooth to my phone so I could hear my phone ring when using it with CIEMS...but no, you can only pair it with a BT headset---great, my hi-rez files over BT to a shitty headset, great. Pretty sure they'll ask for it back once I write a review. No loss here. I'll take the Galaxy SIII and the V-Moda Verza rig in a heartbeat.

Indeed. Got MOG on my SIII and have some tunes downloaded on it. Problem is, you can't download tunes to the SD card, which is kind of limiting. But I got all sorts of players I can hook up on my bike. Just got the Atell&Kern AK120 and am transferring files now.

The problem using a smartphone on my bike is that I go in and out of cell range up here all the time.....argh!

I got fucked with the difficulties deactivating, all sorts of bullshit I won't bother to mentally reconstruct. I refuse to use it now...which sux 'cuz it's great on long bike trips. Fuck 'em, I'll do without the news talk and will load up a player. Bastards.

Well, there's a distinct 6kHz peak in there that oughtn't be...from a purely technical point of view anyway. The Mods so far have been pretty good at keeping the imaging and detail strengths while knocking down the 6k bump. Doesn't make them syrupy at all. Not sure the Changstar group are leaning that way, the Meridian Explorer is a by syrupy---frankly I like that---and they didn't like it. Right, really out the door now. See ya!

Yeah, I'd seen the hot sauce thing before...but I remain very interested on what's the current best mod and if it's going anywhere. I just need to PM Anax really. I'll do that when I return from Germany. BTW, Axel Grell is aware of the mod and said they did play around with something like it during development. He thinks it's a legit mod.

Agreed. Been thinking about it; it's on the list for the right time. Anex hasn't completed his production mod, has he? I'm kinda waiting for that to shuffe some orders his way if he does it. Better PM him sometime soon to find out.
