I had a Beyer dt770 years ago. Son #2 destroyed it. Seems late night gaming is very intense?????

So B&H photo had a discounted return. I ordered one at $10 off. No brainer. I'll find a use for it at that price. I don't currently have a closed set of headphones.

Good news, if someone on the subway is bothering you, it doubles as a weapon.

My world is full of black cats. I've heard too many people dismiss them as evil. I don't let them outside for reasons like this.

The shining is chock full of ghostly dead people. Why worry about this one scene? Somebody is overthinking, or under thinking this. If your a dead guy, drinking seems like the right thing to do.

Cats and tape decks, what could go wrong?

Chernobyl miniseries on HBO. How close they came to making the whole region a wasteland.

https://www.planar.com/case-studies/project/memphis-police-real-time-crime-center/ The reality is more and more cities are going this way. Nobody really watches the screens. They're just background noise until something happens. Then they playback to find the perp and post the picture with a reward. Most of the city crime gets solved by hot anonymous tips that pay money. the caller gets a claim number and if it leads to an arrest, they can get paid. 901-528-CASH. The bulk of the people in the rows by the big screens are there to monitor calls coming in, not watch the screens.

From a government perspective, why not?

The millennials/zoomers are now in a position where a college degree is more like a high school degree was 40 years ago. Employers want a degree for even entry level stuff that is brain dead work. And they pay crap. If you don't get specialized, good luck. And with Asian and India degree mills working overtime, guys with master's degrees show up at job interviews all the time. About 10 minutes into the interview you wonder how the guy tied his own shoes.Yes, I'm in my 60's. Thank god my kids have it together.

Appropriately the thinkers avatar is Frosty the snowman. As in just born today.

light bulbs with firmware????????? I get enough of that crap at work. I want my lights to just light up. And I don't need to chat with my fridge either. But I do hear that pineapple juice pop calling out "eat me"

Long way of saying"we'll deliver it when we're good and ready". It still can't be as useless as USPS tracking.

Not a lot of fans here at all. Other than the for sale stuff, I don't read much over there.

This coming from a well respected audio supplier trying to sell me something. More likely this.

I'm looking forward to reviews. Looks like you have approached this with a great deal of thought. I used to work in industrial support for lens and camera production. So manufacturing process details are of interest. I might have to start saving up my $$$.

I'm ready for an honest test and complete disassembling of them. Some small part of me hopes that a new headphone that doesn't cost $2000 can sound decent. But, reality is a bitch.

I see these over in the other place. $500 Stat, based on pro bias. New offering from India. It said in the thread Spritzer will be getting a set. True, lies, or Trumpism?

Any bets on how long it takes for that video to show up in the internet?

I assume you've received this and have had a chance to listen?

How's your soldering skills? You might want to grab some junk circuit board to practice on. Other than that, the recap job is pretty simple.
