Went to the airpower museum with one of my sons,Planes for the jones beach show took off from there. Blue Angels, snowbirds,Breightling french Jets vintage planes . New F35 fighter jet made a low pass over the runway. To End the Day took a ride in the Yankee Lady B17 bomber as a Farthers day gift from my Kids.My Dad was a eginenier in WWII & worked on & flew in the B17s. So it was pretty cool day.

Caps had their chance to take the lead in the last period with the 5 on 3 ,got the one to tie but couldn't finish.That was a fast paced series,great hockey. Tampa has a fast team but I don't think they are as deep as the Penns.but you never know as they beat the penns 3 times during the season. Should be interesting as Tampa may get Stamkos & Strallman back.

Islanders Blew it in the last few seconds,cost them the game and series lead.I always sweat the last minute of the periods as the Isles seem to give up goals. The Penns are looking really tough,they where the hottest team going into the playoffs & still are.Really fast paced games against the caps.

It was a great series that could have gone either way 3 overtime wins for the Isles.with the last 2 games going to doubleovertime. I agree this series was the most underated of the first round.Very stressfull watching it ,it was that close.

Stayed up late to watch the double overtime win by the Islander panther game .Great series .The teams are closely matched. Overtime penalty shot in first overtime stopped by Greise,3rd time to ever happen in playoff overtime.

Wild Game,Fla outshot Isles 46-26 they looked real good,Griese made some great saves. One thing about the Isles they never give up. & came from behind 3 times. Ref called slashing penalty on Martin with 3 minutes to go,giving Fla 6 on 4 power play in the end.Replay showed Martin had his stick on the ice the whole time & no sign of a slash.Ref must have had money on Fla.
