I use the HE6 with my Pico amp/Dac & laptop sitting on my couch a lot & it sounds pretty good. Sure the HE6 can use a better amp & I have them. I heard the SR71b driving the HE6s at the NY meet & was surprised how good that combo sounded.

I agree on the panny plasmas.depends on your budget,You can gert super buys on last years models,to give you a idea about prices go to 6th ave electronics .com. Plasma looks good from any angle with no motion blur.you can stand on the side of it & the picture looks good. Go to AVS forum for some insight.

I recently got 2 pairs of progressive lenses,I only needed glasses for reading but lately I need them for distance ,especially for driving at night.I wll be 59 in two months & started needing reading glasses in my late 40s. Tough to get used to them for reading ,I ended up buying a third pair just for reading.

I have used s40 with the perforated sides & door for years,I picked up a 2nd one recently for extra gear space.
