For folks like me & Jp who have the 3a in hand that have ther gain issues.I am not going to send mine back untill all of the issues have been addressed. In the mean time I can still listen to it.

The hiss is a non issue for my old ears,it seems that others seem to focus on it instead of listening to music. I held on to my 3a instead of sending it back again until all of the gain issues are sorted out. In the mean time I just enjoy listening to it.

I would actually like to know what is actually done to upgrade them other the replacing the parts ,are they differant from the origionals,is it renewing the dampining paste he used in the cups. I have a spare pair of new HP1 drivers & Hp1 standard cable & 2 sets of flat pads & HP1 buttons I bought from Joe just before he moved from NJ. Cost at the time was $525.00 & he would have included installation for free,but I bought them for spares if I ever needed them,they are still sitting in the box they where shipped in. I could turn either my HP2 or HP3 into a HP1 if I wanted as I have all the parts to do it. And no they are not for Sale.

I have been watching the whole series & looking forward to tonights game. I just hope its not another 1-0 game. I am leaning to a boston win,Tim Thomas has been the best player of the series IMHO. That said vancouver seems to step up their game at home the same way the Bruins have.

Well JHA got me my new 3a/16 out right away,received it today after them getting the ones I sent back yesterday. Got everthing right this time.Even got the hoody. Fit seems ok ,but it goes very deep into the canals,I will give it a week to get used to it. Gain on this is set to high,volume knob barely turned. Listening to allison Krause paper airplane cd on my dell laptop via USB. Let the burn in begin!

No I didn't get to listen to it as I was at work,I only tried the earpieces for fit for a few secounds. I never took the amp out of its packing.It was only in my possesion for a hour before I shipped it back after speaking with Jamie who was apoligetic.I did congratulate her on her wedding. I brought my Ipad charger to work to charge the 3a ,so I could listen to it tonight,but just shipped it out right away instead.

My JH16/3a was delivered today & sent back a hour after I got them. After waiting a year for them ,I opened the box to the wrong color (translucent blue which was what I ordered at CJ,but later changed to translucent Black & was doublechecked a month before with Jamie). I ordered a 64 inch cable & recieved a 48 inch cable plus no hoodie in the box which was promised. The color wasn't a deal breaker for me ,but the cable length was ,as cable length makes a differance in final tuning of the 3a I sent the whole package back on my dime. I was also charged $50 for art work at CJ for the JHA flying logo which should have been for free. All will be taken care of after speaking with Jamie,Black translucent with carbon fiber face plate(to make up for the $50 charge for the flying logo) & red flying logos. The right 64inch cable & hoodie. I didn't post this on Headfi because I know a lot of negative responses from trollers, But I had to vent. So another week of waiting.
