Right, but you have to send the audio down the “camera” channel or the “content” channel. Advantages to each - content expects music, but camera applies noise reduction, where it expects voice only and suppresses anything else, including music (try to play The Stones’ Paint it Black to see how it fights itself). They’ve recently introduced “original audio” on camera which turns off some of the noise reduction, and if you’re matching camera work, probably want this. But there are trade-offs with each and of course Zoom is constantly adjusting. Anyway, good luck. If you need anyone to test with let me know.

A. Yes B. You're aiming for quality audio through Zoom? That's a hero's journey. I assume you're going to push down camera channel using original audio? Curious how you're going to accomplish, but good luck.

This is a only with a variety mid-level headphones and usually with the Peak-Volcano, so take everything with a grain of salt. Honestly this is comparing with not current DACs themselves and yes, Sigma-Deltas, such as the old Lavry DA10 and Parasound vDAC v2. Admittedly, the romantic jump back, was disappointing enough I may not have given enough time to readjust. I could give another try, but until I can get rid of some necessary video gear due to shelter in place, I don’t have the space to setup full rack sized gear. Thus it’s mostly iFi iDSD Black Label for headphones currently. And AirPod Pros. So just ignore me.

As Parasound was mentioned, and I was once a proponent owning five vintage models at the same time, thought I should mention I’ve recently gone back, not to 1600 or 2000, thus not balanced, but the single-ended, unmodified 1100. For whatever it’s worth overall it was kinda disappointing compared to modern options. Tone was still great, but separation and placement was not.

Opened our windows! Wind direction is threading fires on either side so we temporarily have “moderate” air. #simplepleasures #2020 With the Australian Thunder from Down Under Firemen helping now, containment is progressing.

Successfully solved a ceiling fan long wobble (rubber octopus!) and extracted a broken light bulb from its socket. Why am I feeling this triumphant? #2020

Replaced the six year old $11.99 generic Chinese Bluetooth adapter with a modern $14.99 generic Chinese Bluetooth adapter. Improved SQ and 2010 Kia Optima now slightly less embarrassing.
