Apple Music officially announced that it is bringing lossless music quality options to its entire catalog at no extra cost, starting in June. Apple says lossless quality will be available for more than 75 million tracks in the Apple Music library. It is also launching support for Spatial Audio music with songs authored in Dolby Atmos. Users will be able to listen to select albums with an immersive 3D sound-space on AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max and Beats headphones with a H1 or W1 chip. Apple says thousands of Dolby Atmos songs will go live in June. https://9to5mac.com/2021/05/17/apple-music-announces-it-is-bringing-lossless-audio-to-entire-catalog-at-no-extra-cost-spatial-audio-features/ In related news... A few moments before Apple announced its HiFi plan, Amazon announced that its higher-quality music plan, Amazon Music HD, is now available to Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers at no extra cost. As first reported by Billboard, Amazon Music HD, which previously cost $14.99 a month and $12.99 for Prime Members, is now available to everyone with Amazon Music Unlimited, which costs $9.99 month and $7.99 for Prime members. https://9to5mac.com/2021/05/17/amazon-music-hd-available/

“Rumors have indicated that Apple is preparing to launch a new "Hi-Fi" tier of Apple Music involving lossless audio and perhaps a Spatial Audio experience on compatible hardware. An announcement could come as soon as this Tuesday, May 18.” https://www.macrumors.com/2021/05/16/apple-music-about-to-change-forever/

Also no reason to watch... Jim before the drugs

No reason for anyone to watch these unless it's already in your history (I know so for some members) or you're curious of Star Trek alternatives. Important to remember Martin Landau rejected being Spock to take over this "Kirk". The much bigger change was UFO to Space:1999.

So how much are the Drop HD8XXs worth now?

Interesting that Sonova sounds a little Etymotics-like, who sold their consumer audio business recently.

Maybe Sonova can better help that guy in Sound of Metal now?

As with most lists the order is all fucked up, but a lot of gems next time you’re looking for something to watch. https://www.rollingstone.com/tv/tv-lists/best-tv-sitcoms-1162237/schitts-creek-2015-2020-1163263/

Took a break from work to empty and scrub clean the kitty litter box. Put it on the patio to dry and when I returned some birds had used it for target practice. 🤦♂️

I've been a bit focused on Garry Winogrand over the last couple of weeks. First to really popularize that 28mm FL, so popular on cell phones, and was a relentless shooter some call "the first digital photographer", though it was all on film. If you don't already know him and are curious, see below. There's a great doc too, trailer first. -
Thanks for all the work, and especially time, you've put into this Todd.

If you need a laugh this Apple Music review is pretty fun. Poor Steve Jobs’ ghost.
