Also Lasso last night. Today, and I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea but keep in mind the main characters are designed to be split between loving and hating musicals, Schmigadoon!

Anyone have good links to the opening ceremonies this morning? Also at least 100 US athletes unvaccinated. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/jul/23/number-of-vaccinated-us-athletes-tokyo-olympics-2020

Yeah, White’s name is all that got me past the first episode, but I did think it laid the ground work in the second and I enjoyed its growing cringy-ness. It’s a limited series so we’ll see, but very hopeful. On the other end of hope, watched the pilot of Sexy Beasts, a dating show where the put sexy people with the worst personalities together to prove it’s “all about personalities”.

HeadAmp Gilmore Lite mk2 Headphone Amp

I think you have the Sieveking Omega stand. One of mine is also. The other is a newer, cheaper made, random brand X Omega stand (lots of options) that’s 1/7th the price and probably why no one stocks the Sieveking any longer (if they even make them). The amp stand, aka monitor/laptop stand, is made by Navaris, and dimensions work well with the GS-X Mini. -

Forget taste. 😉 All you need to know is Quaker Oats asked America’s children who was best and Quake got spanked and discontinued. Quake then dug a hole to “down under”, slimmed down, and got a kangaroo sidekick. This gave the new team the confidence to relaunch Quake as Quangaroos and take on Quisp again. Big mistake (Coca-Cola wouldn’t learn the lesson). Discontinued again. It was like a slo-mo game run by marketers.

Atlantic’s The Uyghur Chronicles: One by One, My Friends Were Sent to the Camps https://www.theatlantic.com/the-uyghur-chronicles/ “When our turn came, we entered the second office. Güljan, from our neighborhood committee, was waiting for us. She had us sign a registry. In addition to our fingerprints, she now said that they would also be taking blood samples, voice samples, and facial images. My wife looked at me anxiously. Nearly everyone I knew from the labor camp where I’d been imprisoned two decades earlier had already been rearrested. My turn would clearly come soon.”

^ Agree. Plus here who can deny a Canadian celebration album of Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, etc. tunes? "After the Gold Rush" (Neil Young) – 4:00 "Simple" (k.d. lang, David Piltch) – 3:02 "Helpless" (Neil Young) – 4:15 "A Case of You" (Joni Mitchell) – 5:12 "The Valley" (Jane Siberry) – 5:31 "Hallelujah" (Leonard Cohen) – 5:01 "One Day I Walk" (Bruce Cockburn) – 3:24 "Fallen" (Ron Sexsmith) – 2:56 "Jericho" (Joni Mitchell) – 3:45 "Bird on a Wire" (Leonard Cohen) – 4:28 "Love is Everything" (Jane Siberry) – 5:43
