Anyone going for one of these cases?

HF2s arrived this morning. No major cosmetic 1ssues besides the one. Felt like an expectant father counting fingers and toes and hit 20ish. Cord strangely pinched a couple mm above Y on both sides and stiffer cord punches me in the jaw when I turn my head, but the former is at least symmetrical and the latter is all part of feeling the music. Bowls appear to be two parts (inner/outer ring) which I don't remember in the past (but it's been a bit of time since I owned a "bowl" Grado). Has this always been the case? Recently a co-worker bought a pair of SR60s and I nostalgically thought of when I started this hobby. Bought a used pair of SR80is as beaters, and maybe not surprisingly, really did not like their signature as all. Having the HF2s arrive a week later, and sound so great, is a welcome reversal.

Have you tried turning off your wireless security, seeing if you can connect and then reintroducing? As Grawk said I'd go WAP/WAP2. Is your 'Airport' an Airport Express, Airport Extreme or you're using Apples generic term for router? Can you see the device through OS Xs Airport Utility? OS X is actually much more forgiving when connecting to networks than some other OSs. It was hell connecting T-mobile G1/Android on some networks (isn't compatible with WPA Enterprise, won't connect with dual WPA/WEP, etc.).

At this point I probably watch 80% of the DVDs and downloads on my 13" MacBook in bed, even though there's a large monitor and Audioengines feet away and a much better dedicated video setup in the next room. Maybe it's the films I tend to drift towards (no, not that type), but it does seem a video equivalent to headphones. Intimacy and all that. Plus gives a bit of the feeling of sneaking a book here and there even if it's only a few scenes before falling asleep. Course it's also responsible for getting to work a bit late occasionally.

My biggest problem with the review is he seems to begrudgingly use phones and that taints the entire "compromised" experience. Kinda felt like someone reviewing a CDP, when he only endorses computer based media servers. And doesn't let it go with a simple single line up front.

I mean considering how many titles aren't available on Blu-ray (not to mention old titles that likely would benefit little)? Man, I've bought over 60 titles in DVD box sets recently (many new to DVD and far from, if ever, on Blu-ray). That phrase, from someone who obviously loves film, is a little scary.

It looks like the same generic engravers font used, which would mean the 1 should only have a single-state and appear the same as the other 1 and not i/I/|, etc. Even with another engraver. But who knows? Would be interesting to have two similar shots and superimpose them to look for spacing, etc. changes. Well, slightly interesting. Actually, as is obvious in your photo, yours suffers from a blurry cable.

I'd rather have a F1 with a nice, crisp cable.
