Thanks also dee. Care to describe that shit a bit though? Been waiting on another refurb sale for a while, though I should avoid if it's really that bad.
  3. Maybe wanting both the product and the product improved.
  4. All signs seems to be CBS, but can't imagine this is a good sign. Doesn't exactly seem like a 'begin.'
  5. Damn, yes I did miss that. If anyone is trying to sell one or two let me know.

Yeah, I sadly just realized that too. Still it could be worse.

    Cool Woot shirt today.
  9. Ah. Just picked up from the library "Come Dream with Me" and "The Lovers, the Dreamers and Me" earlier today.
  10. And then there was a certain [don't want to be sued] individual and his treatment of the cafe hostess who resisted seating his entourage after closing. Could someone remind me who was the guy selling Blu-ray audio discs (had Smyth tech at booth)?
  11. Anyone compare the Carat-Topaz (currently $299) or Emerald against the Compass, Pico, etc.? Kinda dug the size, RCAs, and 1/4" jack. Didn't have any phones available I was familiar with at CJ though.
  12. The HF2s are very much Grados sonically if you consider all other Grados Grados. Certainly the GS1K deviates far more than HF2. I'd focus on what you prefer about the 325 over the MS1 (or if you've heard the 225 and HF1). There are darker cans in the series and the 325 is on the other side of that characteristic, but like a great deal of the comments about the HF1, the differences of the HF2 are exaggerated. Many are commenting over on the other site about the HF2s being more balanced than the RS1s, which wasn't my experience on a variety of gear at CJ. Course you also have the similar sounding to each other ATs, so you know the drill.
  13. Anyone considering picking one up for their HF2s?
  14. I occasionally use a UCA202 for USB-TOSLINK conversion/Parasound use on the cheap.
  15. The ever kind Voltron has lent me his FET-A for a few days. The dimensions come close to the Duet, which may make a very convenient transportable combo. And possibly superior price-performance (for phone use) to various one-box solutions (Benchmark, Grace, Lavry), while admittedly losing a lot of functionality. It seems fewer use one-box setups than once did, however some over in the HF HD800 thread (well, last I checked) still seem to be aiming for one. Anyway, will see over next few days on the SQ and synergy fronts.
  16. So that's why all the deletions occur.
  17. Some related claims by his most recent ex: Carradine's "Deviant Sexual Behavior" - June 5, 2009
  18. Very, very nice. Prettier than my head or phones.
  19. To give him the benefit of the doubt I looked up alternative definitions of "slow" over at urbandictionary and both "heroin" and "drug addict from florida" came up. "Crazy, cool, insane" did also.
  20. Ah cool. Didn't realize. Maybe increases the odds.
  21. Okay, let me switch the question - I see Todds photo of the FET-A has the HD800s propped on top. Anyone get a chance to listen to them on the FET-A at CJ? Todds floor HD800 was balanced, but there were others floating around or perhaps he had a SE adapter? Thinking of a small Duet/FETA rig for transportable duties, but still considering the HeadAmps.
  22. Good point. Likely superior SQ and a better choice for most, but costing 1/3 more and losing the coax/opt input options.
