Did you guys know before Halloween came into its own, there was for a time, "Thanksgiving Masking" (door to door for apples, etc. for the later meal)? Just found that out this morning. Which is too bad, because as my friend Melissa says, Thanksgiving is the lower stress, good stuff from Christmas - getting together with family and friends, a spirit in the air where strangers are ever so slightly nicer to one another, a wonderful meal, and presents - which you've already got. Hoping you all a great one.

How long have you had them? I'm not a runner, so didn't buy them for that, but gotta say my lower back, shoulders and neck hurt for a few days until I adjusted. Insanely comfortable as work shoes, but they do slap down a bit, at least with my flat feet. Definitely my step has changed - long term good or bad I don't know. Only time I've felt really ridiculous in them was when I walked into a screening of Where the Wild Things Are and saw people looking at my feet and whispering. Yeah, super fan!

Huge fan. Have had the KSOs (thanks to Dan and Sergey) for about a month and worn them almost exclusively. A few new models have been introduced in the last couple of weeks. Note the recommended sizing (by foot length) is way off. I had to return and pick up two sizes above the recommended, 45 instead of 43, and it seems a common complaint on the web. And so far the word most commonly expressed by women in my life is "scary." May be a little too gorilla-like.

Cheaper option.

I would say the W5K and AD2K are both very synergy dependent. Both can sound bright and peaky with the majority of setups. Okay, the W5K is even more problematic. And then, as mentioned, you have the whole W5K fit issue. From owning the W5K, borrowing the AD2K a couple times, and hearing them both on several setups at meets, I've never heard the W5K approach the AD2K at its best. And at its best, *cough* reel to reel *cough* Balancing Act, it can compete with the best cans out there.
