Good deal if you need a dock... Seagate 1TB SATA 3Gbps HDD w/ dock - dealmac.com
  3. Pico is a great choice, but for $350 there are many vintage options also in the $250-300 range and you could solve the USB to toslink/coax connection with the remaining $50/100. As long as space isn't a concern.
  4. Has anyone ever sold any 24 bit/44.1 Khz files before? Could have at least spiced up the apple...
  5. Not sure when the naked disappeared. And Al gives full meaning to "soap box." Looks like there's a movie. Fave quote - "Missiles are absolutely anti-social."
  6. I guess there used to be 19 uses.
  7. I like saying that three times fast. I may be very late to the game and this all common knowledge (from web search it certainly appears it's big with the hippies), but anyone else here try Castile soaps (buying or making - making)? A friend bought a bunch in prep for a camping trip (those 18-in-1 uses - body, shampoo, tooth-paste, aphrodisiac, bug repellant, etc.), so I gave it a try and man, if it's possible to be excited about liquid soap (it is!), this is it. Besides the strange pick-me-up (nose, skin and other sensations - easily conteracting the rum from the night before), with Dr. Bronners you're also entertained by the most unusual label I've seen in some time on a consumer product. "More good is caused by evil than good. Enlarge the positive!" "Each swallow works hard to be perfect pilot-provider-builder-trainer-teacher-lover-mate, no half-truth hate!" "Americanism is the knowledge of, the loyalty inspiration or attachment to the Army of Principles of All-One-God-Faith." And there's more wisdom as seen below... Anyway, if the label makes me feel a bit dirty, the soap does the opposite. I swear showers are more fun in the morning. So anyone else have experience with Castile?
  8. If anyone has a few iPhones around...
  9. Lambda Pros and SRM-1/MK II has gone for ~$500 many times.
  10. Great costumes. Was there blood under the wrist bands? I got close with creepy/crawlies by climbing under a friends house to start her furnace, listend to a debate on fast versus slow zombies on NPR, feel asleep early and woke up in the middle of the night and watched the below* (click to launch larger viewer) on my iPhone. Far from a crazy holiday this year. *The Omega Man/I am Legend story.
