Is there a way to attach a mouse? If not, how will the keyboard be used? Only for heavy word processing or type and then reach up on screen and move pointer/cursor/etc.? The latter seems awkward.

Believers in the OS potential for the form factor. Suspect Android and Chrome OS will be next. Find it interesting how some of us are somewhat viewing it as a different appliance. Some as the ultimate remote/vnc. Some as a [mostly] laptop replacement. Maybe the WiFi/3G split, but I'll be curious which of us use the iPad primarily outside the home and who's mostly using it inside? And other options for a case and a stand on the cheap... Okay, I'm sure this has already been tried, but for the heck of it I'll ask - have you used a recent Handbrake version to transcode from .mkv to h.264 .mp4/.m4v (with an extremely high bitrates to minimize secondary artifacts), then author a DVD (which will use another transcoding step to older MPEG-2) with Sonic/Roxio/etc.?
