  4. Noticed the pilot is on YT if anyone is interested. It was a lot of fun.
  5. Seems like your fear may be founded, but if you want to experiment (with work/friends newer laptop). Mostly obvious stuff, but worth a look. M
  6. Yep, no Mac app. Not sure if there are plans for it. Strangely I tend to listen to classical over speakers and when using speakers I tend to use Airplay with phone. When listening to headphones I tend to use laptop. Generally I’m adapting better to Apple Music this round, though do prefer the more album focus of Qobuz (though even they are changing).
  7. RIP Klaus Teuber, protector of sanity during the pandemic (aka inventor of Settlers of Catan) https://www.npr.org/2023/04/05/1168256131/catan-board-game-klaus-teuber-dies https://www.gameshub.com/news/news/catan-creator-klaus-teuber-passes-away-age-70-2612253/
  8. In today's cynical photography-related news... https://petapixel.com/2023/04/04/gen-z-discovers-modern-digital-cameras-are-better-than-iphones/

  11. ^ Many plays of that one. Cat Clyde's Down Rounder ex.
  12. Starting Great Expectations (BBC/FX/Hulu). So far, so good. They're making it easy to never have to read the novel.
  13. #moongirlsforever Not that I'm regular visitor to AARP TV... yet, but how did I miss Dinner with Don?
  14. Yummy. Edit: Just came out of a meeting where we discussed buying two. Send to remote talent. Try not to drop.
  15. Giving it a try. Doing the annual switch from Qobuz to Apple Music for a month and seeing if it will take this time (with added classical organization).
  16. Nice camera and thanks for the link. DPReview is being archived https://old.reddit.com/r/photography/comments/11ya4fa/dpreview_is_being_archived_by_the_archive_team/
  17. Hope you feel better soon Shelly from both things. We all have been wiped out with something, likely a cold, this week also. Coming out the other side and joining you also on Zorn/Harris, though less elegantly at Internet Archive. Doesn't seem to be on the normal streaming services. https://archive.org/details/john-zorn-2020-songs-for-petra Also we need to get "For now, I have music" on t-shirts.
  18. Anyone watching the new season of Perry Mason? Doesn’t seem many are talking about it.
  19. A few phone snaps from a photo fair today. Showing a rare example of will power I came home with -1 cameras. These are held three times a year in Newark, CA, but also show up once in year in Portland (coming September), if anyone up there is interested. The 2.7MP Nikon D1, originally $10K in today’s dollars, that I picked up for $40 here last show, were going for $75 today. #digicamtrend
  20. Unfortunately, it's training those eyes for that look. Next stop AI.
  21. Of course days after I bought the Hasselblad 907x 50C for waist level shooting. Coming 4/20 (maybe).
